Best Way to Craft Gear in Crystal of Atlan

In Crystal of Atlan, you will have to rely on gear. It makes you stronger and more menacing on the battlefield. Progressing through the main story and waiting for drops to get gear, though, can be frustrating, as they don’t usually come quickly. Fortunately, you can craft your own gear. Here’s how to craft gears in Crystal of Atlan, and how to dismantle them.

How to craft Gears in Crystal of Atlan

You’ll unlock gear crafting in Crystal of Atlan by the end of Chapter 1 in the main story. This leads you to Rhine City, where you’ll meet Glenn at his workshop. Glenn’s Workshop is located near the center of the city, and it’s where you’ll start crafting your own gear pieces.

Interact with Glenn, and he will show you a wide variety of craftable gears on the left side of the screen. Here’s the list of gears that you can craft:

Weapon
Helmet
Breastplate
Pants
Gloves
Shoes
Necklace
Bracers
Ring
Seal
Talisman
Relic

Meanwhile, on the right side, you’ll find a list of the required materials, including the crafting cost.

Players may also notice an arrow or hammer icon inside the gear symbol, indicating whether you have enough resources to craft a specific item. Here’s what each icon means:

No hammer/arrow: You cannot craft the item
Grey hammer/arrow: Item is craftable, but materials aren’t available
Green hammer/arrow: Item is craftable, and materials are available

How to dismantle gears in Crystal of Atlan

Your inventory in Crystal of Atlan has limited space, so it’s best to regularly clear it out. One way to free up space is by dismantling unwanted gear.

To do this, head to the Gear tab and select the items you want to dismantle. Not only does this free up inventory space, but it also rewards you with Spare Parts, which can be used to enhance your existing gear.
