Here’s how to change class in Crystal of Atlan

Crystal of Atlan offers several classes that cater to different playstyles. The game features tanky swordsmen who can slash through opponents, musketeers who gun them down, puppeteers who fight alongside their marionettes to damage enemies and support allies, magisters who harness magical power to deal damage and apply debuffs, and fighters who specialize in close-quarters combat. Players are free to choose any class they like, and if they change their mind, they can switch to another class, though only to a certain extent. Here’s how to change class in Crystal of Atlan.

Can you change class in Crystal of Atlan?

As of writing, there is currently no way for players to change their main class in Crystal of Atlan. You cannot switch from Puppeteer to Swordsman, Magister, Musketeer, or any other class. However, you can swap to a different subclass within your chosen class.

Since class switching is not yet possible in Crystal of Atlan, the only way to experience other classes is by creating a new character.

How to change subclass in Crystal of Atlan?

If you’re below level 45 and haven’t completed Awakening yet, you can switch between subclasses by going to the ‘Skills’ menu. On the left side of the screen, you’ll see the available subclasses, simply click on the one you prefer and confirm the change. Players can freely switch subclasses at any time without cooldowns.

After completing Awakening, however, players will need to use an item called a Soul Stone to change their subclass.

How to buy Soul Stone in Crystal of Atlan

Head to the Shop and select ‘Item’ from the menu on the left side of the screen. The item required for changing subclasses is available there, though it can be pricey. Each one costs 1,000 Prismadium or Opal. Additionally, purchases are limited to two per month.
