Just like every RPG available on any platform, Crystal of Atlan is an MMO with multiple classes to choose from. This magicpunk RPG features five main classes, each branching into various subclasses. Whether one prefers close-quarters or long-range combat, there’s a class suited for every playstyle. Here’s a breakdown of every class in Crystal of Atlan and how they work.
Crystal of Atlan Classes and what they do
Puppeteer
A girl with a tall marionette by her side. Being a puppeteer, this class deals close- and mid-range attacks along with their marionette. Recommended for players who are into Area of Effect or AoE attacks. It has two subclasses: Scytheguard and Blademaiden.

Blademaiden
Blademaiden deals insane DPS. Besides the fact that most of her skills cover a large area, the marionette by her side also mimics her attacks. This goes to say that she’s the perfect unit in PvE when there are multiple enemies around. However, she can be pretty tough to use in PvP as you need great positioning.
Scytheguard
On the contrary, Scytheguard is a support-centric role. Best for team PvE, and can be tough to kill in PvE. Scytheguard is the only class with the ability to dish out teamwide healing, buffs, and damage reduction.
Musketeer
Of course, the gunslinger class. If you’re the type of player who prefers agile characters that can take out enemies from a distance, the Musketeer’s for you.

Bounty Hunter
Bounty Hunter has plenty of AoE and long-range attacks. She’s also very agile and mobile, so expect no boring gameplay with her. But since she depends on ranged attacks, you’ll have to learn how to position well with her in order to maximize her damage.
Gunner
Compared to the Bounty Hunter, Gunner moves much slower. However, you have more freedom when using her, as she has a mix of melee, ranged, and mid-range attacks.
Swordsman
Swordsman brings the sword into battle, focusing on melee attacks to dish out damage.

Berserker
Berserker is a good tank that can also deal a huge amount of damage on the front line. Easily one of the most beginner-friendly classes in the game. While you need to lower your health to inflict more damage, you’re less likely to get eliminated as you also gain shields.
Magiblade
This has to be one of the most challenging classes, but playing him’s gonna be fun for sure. Magiblade favors fast-paced gameplay, as most of his skills include high-speed and aerial attacks.
Magister
The magician or mage class of the game. Magisters have an affinity for mid- and long-range elemental damage attacks. Compared to other classes, the Magister class branches out into three advanced classes.

Elementalist
Elementalist is pretty much like every mage in a classic RPG—lots of long-range attacks, but with mediocre mobility. As long as you can keep a good distance from the enemy, you can deal damage in peace.
Warlock
Warlock, on the other hand, is the dark magic-wielder. His arsenal of skills includes lots of explosive attacks, debuffs, and crowd control.
Magician
Magician masters the art of illusion, but he can also be difficult to play. His skillset is basically RNG, and the attacks you get depend on the card that you pull.
Fighter
Fighters are brawlers, which means plenty of melee attacks. Unlike other melee classes, Fighters tend to attack more quickly.

Cloudstrider
Cloudstrider uses the power of the tiger and crane to strike her opponents. You can swap between either stance to deal a mix of melee and ranged attacks. In my opinion, one of the classes with the most fun playstyle.
Starbreaker
If you like a high-octane, brawler-type playstyle, Starbreaker is the way to go.
