The Hidden Gems trophy achievement requires players to find and open various treasure chests, these often contain anything from gold, weapons and even armor.
Finding them though is the tricky part as they are usually hidden and in quite good spots too. Still they are always worth it once you find them!
Unfortunately once you have opened the chest you cannot reap the rewards, meaning the only way to take advantage of anything that comes from a chest is to return to the lobby (Kelvin’s Cairn) and access the large chest here, it will be known as the Reward Chest.
Below is a simple guide on how to find all the treasure chests found in Verbeeg Jamboree – A Feast For All Cretins, which features 5 treasure chests
TREASURE CHEST #1
- MISSION OBJECTIVE: Place the missing runestone to gain entry to Annuragon’s Tomb
- GUIDE: At the start carefully navigate the spike trap, then continue on until you reach the runestone door. From there turn left to find a lavafall. The chest can be found to the right of this area.
TREASURE CHEST #2
- MISSION OBJECTIVE: Fight through to the forge.
- GUIDE: Head through the runestone door now, then drop down to the platform below. Continue to follow the path, jump the gap to claim your reward!
TREASURE CHEST #3
- MISSION OBJECTIVE: Fight through to the forge.
- GUIDE: Continue on as normal, however when you reach the large room with the lavafalls, continue around the corner to find this next one
TREASURE CHEST #4
- MISSION OBJECTIVE: Fight through to the forge.
- GUIDE: Head to the fire floor trap, you should be able to see the next one here
TREASURE CHEST #5
- MISSION OBJECTIVE: Fight through to the forge.
- GUIDE: The final chest can be found in the room with the explosive barrel. It is hiding behind some breakable objects.
