(FF8) Final Fantasy VIII : (CC) Card Group (Side Quest) Guide

The (CC) Card Group consists of many different NPC members who all excel at Triple Triad, they also hold very special cards which are only obtainable once/if you manage to beat them.

They also have a special requirement in order for them to spawn and they also appear in a certain order too. So make sure you have a good stack of cards before taking them on.

Below is a guide on how to trigger the side quest and who to play, where they are located and in what order they are available to play.

**MEMBER:** Jack
**LOCATION:** Near 1F elevator
**HOW TO TRIGGER:** Win 15 Triple Triad matches against anyone.
**SPECIAL CARD:** N/A

**MEMBER:** Joker
**LOCATION:** Balamb Garden Training Area
**HOW TO TRIGGER:** Beat Jack.
**SPECIAL CARD:** Leviathan

**MEMBER:** Club
**LOCATION:** 1F Balamb Garden
**HOW TO TRIGGER:** Beat Joker
**SPECIAL CARD:** N/A

**MEMBER:** Diamond
**LOCATION:** They appear as a couple (Same location as Jack)
**HOW TO TRIGGER:** Beat Club
**SPECIAL CARD:** N/A

**MEMBER:** Spade
**LOCATION:** Near elevator (2F)
**HOW TO TRIGGER:** Beat Diamond. Complete Fisherman Horizon (FH) story segment
**SPECIAL CARD:** N/A

**MEMBER:** Heart (XU)
**LOCATION:** 3F Balamb Garden
**HOW TO TRIGGER:** Beat Spade
**SPECIAL CARD:** Carbuncle

**MEMBER:** King (Quistis)
**LOCATION:** Dormitory
**HOW TO TRIGGER:** Beat Heart. Sleep in Dormitory.
**SPECIAL CARD:** Gilgamesh
After defeating each one, they will then appear in Disc 3 aboard the Ragnarok. At this point they should hold any remaining cards in which you may be missing.
