In this Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn Defenders of the Living Walkthrough, we’re covering the fourth Main Quest of the game. Nor plans to seek out the Judges for help but learns that the Gods have already taken over, declaring the Coalition the enemy. She plans to kill the God Rammuah.
Gather Crafting Materials In Defenders of the Living
The journey to the Three Peaks is shown through a montage. When you arrive, Baz asks you to get some wood, iron, and sulfur so he can improve your gun and axe. The iron is located on the rock behind Baz. The sulfur is next to the path to the left of Baz, and the wood is located by the brazier on the other side of the path. Return to Baz and he will upgrade your weapons.
The Kneeling Keep
Your new objective is to head for the Kneeling Keep. Follow the path to Baz’s left, up the hill. The trail comes to an end when you discover the bridge has been destroyed, and Enki tells you to touch the skull. The game introduces you to Rift Travel, a faster way to traverse the world. These skulls can open rifts at various points.
Once you’ve used the rifts to reach the other side, continue along the path until the Toll Guard stops you. The Coalition has been declared an enemy and the guards attack you. Enter the Keep and take the trail on the left to find Baz. You’ll encounter a shielded enemy and the game teaches you how to stun or parry an enemy to break their stance. Follow the path and turn right. Baz is standing in a ruined building ahead.
Nor and Baz discuss their next plan of action. Baz believes they should leave, but Nor refuses to back down. They need to get into the City of Writ. Baz mentions a forgemaster named Jung who can sneak them in.
Find the Breaching Barrel
After talking to Baz, turn around and back down the second trail that leads to a giant wall. You need to locate a breaching barrel. Fight your way through guards. Head through the gate and follow the path. Make a right into the stone building up ahead. The barrel is next to a glowing chest. Head back down the path. The rocks you need to breach are to the southwest. Place the barrel in front of the rocks, step back, and shoot it. This will end the Defenders of the Living Main Quest and begin the next one, Battle Hardened.
