Solving the Egyptian Numeral Chest puzzle

The Egyptian Numeral Chest puzzle inside a building in the restricted area on the bottom left side of the map. It’s a rectangular wooden building on top of a hill. Use the back left window to get inside the building. The chest is inside on the left, along with the notes you need to solve the puzzle.

Pick up the Mystery Notes

There are two mystery notes on the shelves next to the chest. One, called Numeral Basics, covers the basics of Egyptian numerals and there are four symbols circled. The second piece of paper has the Egyptian Numeral Code on it. There are multiple different symbols on here. Compare them to the Numeral Basics document to decipher the code. 

Solve the Puzzle

There are two ways to solve this puzzle. The harder way is to count the number of symbols on the clipboard and then multiply that by the corresponding number in the Numeral Basics document. This works when working with more complicated symbols and codes. 

Luckily for this one, you get the same number even if you simply count the number of each symbol on the clipboard. The code is 3262. Once you open the chest, you can collect the money and ancient relic inside.
