How to Start the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle The Kid Who Vanished Side Quest
After meeting Tongdang for the first time, Gina will tell you about a missing villager and the quest will automatically begin.
Check the map for the quest marker and reach the area to find the tree house where the kid was staying.

Climb the ladder and approach the door. Wait for Gina to help you open the door and proceed into the house. You learn that the child is Aran, Sunan’s nephew, and he has a taste for exploration. Investigate the tree house for clues.
Aran’s Photograph is pinned on a board on the wall. Remove the plank from the floor to find a Journal Page and learn that Aran found something of interest in the Wat Si Sawai area nearby. That’s your next destination.
Find the Khmer Warrior Temple
Leave the tree house using the zipline and return to the boat. Follow the marker to reach the quest area. Get rid of the enemies so you can freely explore the surroundings. After you are done looting, enter the Khmer Warrior Temple.
Use the ladder to descend and proceed into the temple to find Aran. You will soon hear him screaming. He is trapped behind some rocks.
With Gina’s help, activate the levers and enter the room that just opened. Grab the Pipe Segment from the ground and place it in the empty slot to fix the pipe and unlock another room. Enter this room and pull the lever to go down.
Now, you need to raise the wooden platform so that Aran can escape.
How to Free Aran
Climb the vine and drop down on the other side. Go through the broken wall and reach the waterwheel. You can use it as a bridge, but be quick as it starts moving if you stay on it for too long. In this new room, you need to fix another pipe. Find the Pipe Segments on the floor and repair the main pipe. With Gina’s help, push the large wooden structure. Pull the lever and the platform will start moving.
Enter the room that just opened. The wooden gears are now moving. Make your way through carefully and activate the lever to lower the platform so that Gina can climb up. Open the next door and drop down on the right side. Pull the lever to raise the floor above the spikes. You will come across the main Pipe Puzzle in the temple.
You have to turn on the water and find four Pipe Segments. Climb the ladder on the left to reach the valve that turns on the water. Explore the chamber to find the missing Pipe Segments and fix the pipe. The platform will start moving and you can now escape this place.
Go to the main entrance where you meet Aran. He unlocks a shrine where you find an Ancient Relic. Return to Aran’s uncle in the village to end the quest.
