The Revolutionary Chef (Substory) Like A Dragon: Ishin
Like A Dragon: Ishin has many different substory quests that players can find and try to complete. One of which is The Revolutionary Chef
The Revolutionary Chef is a simple substory quest that helps introduce us to cooking meals and increasing our ‘friendship bond’. It can be completed over in Gion. East of the map.
SUBSTORY QUEST: The Revolutionary Chef
CHAPTER: Chapter 5 – The Iron Code
QUEST GIVER: Scent-Enticed Man
REWARDS: 150 Virtue
LOCATION: Gion (North)
GUIDE:
Head to Haruka’s property and cook any meal. Does not matter which (I went with Katemeshi, as it was easier). Then proceed to Gion, which is the location east of the map. From there head north and we will get interrupted by a ‘Scent-Enticed Man’. Apparently he can smell the meal that we just cooked. The man will then confess that he is a chef.
The chef will then mention that he was been abroad and away from Japan. Though, through his absence and him returning back to Japan he admits that things have changed. The typical dishes that he has been serving is no longer getting the attention that it used to. So he wants to improve his menu.
As we have turned up with a meal and he assumes that we enjoy cooking. The chef now wants us to cook even more meals. By doing this he can try to determine what cuisine best suits the people of Japan. So that he can continue honing his skills through the use of testing out different meals. Give him the meal we just cooked to complete the substory quest.
A new ‘Friendship Bond’ will then begin and we can cook and bring back meals for him whenever we have the time.
