As you play Lost Soul Aside and play the tutorial stage, you’ll know that the game has an auto-save system. This is indicated by an icon of a girl named Liana at the top right of your screen. But did you know that Lost Soul Aside also lets you manually save your game? This way, you can save your game at a particular moment, ideally before taking on a tough boss. Interestingly, Lost Soul Aside does it differently, and many players actually find it amusing. Here’s how to manually save in Lost Soul Aside.
How to Unlock Manual Save the game in Lost Soul Aside?
Players can only save their game only after entering the first chapter of the game. This is because the Manual Save in Lost Soul Aside hinges on one NPC named Liana.
You’ll come across Liana in Chapter 1: Departure, shortly after arriving at Mount Salvation. She’s a white-haired girl who wears her hair in twin pigtails. After a brief conversation with her, a set of menus will unlock, giving players access to the following:
- Save the game
- Craft Items through the Workshop
- Purchase items from the Shop
- Practice in Battle Simulator
- Enter challenges through Dispersed Dimension
- Gift
- Morph
- Change Kaser’s appearance
How to Save your game in Lost Soul Aside?
Now, here’s how to save and load your game.
- Speak to Liana.
- Tap Save
- Pick a slot to save your progress (don’t worry, old saves can be overwritten).
To load from that point, return to the main menu, select Load Game, and pick the save you want.
Where to find Liana in Lost Soul Aside?
After speaking to Liana near the beach in Mount Salvation, you won’t need to return to that exact spot every time. Liana serves as the checkpoint of the game, and you’ll often find her before every major boss fight or any puzzle.
It’s a good idea to save at this point. That way, if the fight doesn’t go as planned, you won’t risk losing a big chunk of progress. By speaking to Liana, you can also access the Battle Simulator, a feature that lets you practice combos and get comfortable with your moves before heading into a boss fight.
