How to Pass Through the Scales Mechanism in Lost Soul Aside

In Lost Soul Aside, there are several mechanisms and contraptions that players will get themselves into. While there are ones bearable, there are some that can be pretty annoying and confusing. One of them is the ‘Pass through Scales Mechanism’ puzzle. After finishing off the Rose Queen, players will have to go through this puzzle in order to cross.

Here’s how to solve it and get past through this.

How to do the Pass Through the Scales Mechanism In Lost Soul Aside

After defeating the Rose Queen, you will once again meet Liana. I recommend saving the game so as to not lose progress.

Then, you’ll find a platform that functions as a scale, and so does everything else in your surroundings. This goes to say that if there’s one thing you shouldn’t do, it’s stay too long on these platforms. As soon as weight is applied, the platform will start lowering itself and eventually sink into the water.

The best thing to do here is to sprint from your initial position, then jump to the edge of the platform, then double jump to the next.

So for the first one, cross the water by jumping to the platform, then to the ruin. There, you’ll find a pressure plate which you can use to adjust the position of the larger platform. Step on it then move on to the next set of platforms next to the ruins.

Proceed, and do the sprint double jump technique to cross until you reach the other end. On that spot, you will encounter a worm. Kill it, and you’ll find yourself surrounded by a treasure chest, and note. Claim or interact with them. Also, don’t forget to destroy the crates and plants for some loot.

From this location, you will have to go through another set of platforms towards the center. Once again, there will be a pressure plate waiting for you. Step on it in order to lower the second larger platform.

After stepping onto the pressure plate, here comes another set. This one’s pretty tough and this may take a few tries.

From the central ruins, sprint then jump until you reach the edge of the platform. Press jump, and once you’re in the middle, do another jump, then quickly dash towards the large platform.

After that, you can finally reach the final location which will give you one Treasure Chest.
