To take part in the Marine Life Exam simply complete the Playing with Fire substory to unlock this exam. It is one of 21 available. It tests your knowledge on the world of sea life and the big blue abyss of the ocean.
After completing the required substory simply head to the Ounabara Vocational School over on Harbor Street. Speak with receptionist Maeda to begin.

As you begin the exam you will be asked 5 questions, get 3 of them correct to pass. Successfully passing the exam will reward you with the Confidence +50 and Kindness +50 character stats.
The Marine Life exam comes with an initial fee that is then removed once you have passed the exam.
