Glodell is one of the many complex characters you meet within the game, he starts off as an antagonist but later has a greater role in the story. While exploring Louis’ vessel, you have to fight Glodell and his dog, Hector. During the cutscene before the battle, Junah awakens her Masked Dancer archetype.
How to Defeat Hector
Glodell’s dog, Hector, is weak to wind magic. Use Junah’s attack called Cyclo, which deals medium magic wind damage to one enemy. This can do about 300-400 damage. Blizza, a medium ice damage spell, does a decent amount of damage too. Focus your attacks on Hector first. Glodell can use Mage Salvation to heal him for about 300 HP. Hector uses mostly melee attacks, which don’t do much damage, and a fire attack called Powerful Pulverizer.
Strategies to Defeat Glodell
Glodell is weak to holy attacks, so it’s recommended to use Cleric against him. Blizza, Cyclo, or Infernal Vortex (a medium fire damage spell that can inflict burn) also work as good attacks to use against our purple haired rival.
Glodell, despite all his talk, isn’t that difficult of an enemy. His attacks are pretty weak. The boss’s regular melee attacks only do about 24-34 damage. His stronger attack, Giant Slice, does roughly 39 damage. After you’ve defeated Hector, focus your attention on Glodell. He is angry that you’ve defeated his dog, but that doesn’t have any effect on his attacks. After he is defeated, Glodell’s superiority complex is taken down a few pegs.
