How to Begin Hatching A Plan

Follow the Metaphor ReFantazio story until you get to Martira and unlock new side missions. Hatching A Plan is a favor quest, meaning that all you need to do is to retrieve an item. This isn’t a combat mission. To start it, make your way to the Thoroughfare Square. Look around for the Gloomy Youth NPC. You will find him north of the fountain. Check the market stalls and you will quickly spot him.

Interact with the Gloomy Youth and hear his request. It seems that he has run into some troubles that might cost him his job. He needs one Practical Pigeon Parcel, or else he will be out of work. Take the quest and notice the deadline. You have to complete the task by July 11^th. Seeing that you will most likely start the quest on June 29^th, you should have plenty of time to finish it.

Metaphor ReFantazio – Hatching A Plan Walkthrough

You don’t have to kill any monsters to acquire the quest item, so you don’t have to worry about your level or team composition. Once you take the Gloomy Youth’s request, you will unlock the village of Komero. The next step is to travel there.

Go to the Gauntlet Runner and access the Strategy Room to make the trip. It will take you one day to reach Komero. Before leaving, check out your deadlines. Once you are ready to go, head to Komero. The village is east of Martira.

Once you are in Komero, head for the general store. The item you seek is in the Key Items section of the store. All you need to do is to pay the 500 Reeve price and the Practical Pigeon Parcel will be yours. If you have the 20% discount, you will pay only 400 Reeve. Don’t worry about the money as the reward will make up for your loss.

Go back to Martira and find the Gloomy Youth in the same spot near the market stalls. Interact with him and hand him the package. The quest will be marked as complete.
