New Pokemon Snap : A Light In The Depths (Lanturn) Request Guide

New Pokemon Snap has many different requests known as LenTalk Requests, this particular request sees you taking photos of Lanturn

The requirement for this specific photo is to get a photo of Lanturn smiling in thanks

POKEMON: Lanturn
REQUIREMENT: Take a photo of Lanturn smiling in thanks
LOCATION: Lental Seafloor
QUEST GIVER: Phil
REWARDS:
DESCRIPTION: Right after I took this photo, I saw Lanturn get caught by Frillish! I can’t stop wondering what happened to it!
REQUIREMENT: Research Level 3
WALKTHROUGH:
Start by taking the alternative route into the underwater ruins
As you continue you will be able to descend through a large hole in the ruins, this is where you can find Lanturn
When you spot the Lanturn be sure to then throw an Illumina Orb at it
Lanturn will then get spooked by a Sharpedo
Wait until a Wailord passes by and you should then notice Lanturn being trapped by a group of Frillish
Use an Illumina Orb to scare off the Frillish and allow Lanturn to continue to swim even deeper into the water
Now turn around in order to see Lanturn once again, in thanks for saving it the Lanturn will then pull off a smiley face
Take a picture of it as it does a happy smiley face
NOTE: The cave that Lanturn then swims into will unlock the alternative route into Lugia’s Lair (This is optional)
