Showtime is a deceptively tricky achievement to unlock in Gangs of Sherwood. While finding a handful of puppets might seem easy, there are several factors that make this achievement a real challenge. This guide will teach you exactly how to find every puppet needed to complete Showtime, while at the same time avoiding common mistakes that you can’t afford to make.

Find all of Alan-a-Dale’s Puppets
In order to complete Showtime, all you need to do is find all of Alan-a-Dale’s puppets. In total, there are eight puppets to find- one for each character. And yes, they look about as creepy as you might imagine! Jokes aside, these puppets are evenly distributed across the map, but because of their tiny size, are extremely easy to miss.
Luckily, unlike with other achievements such as Lore-ified, you won’t need to play as a specific character to find certain puppets, as they’re generally hidden on the ground, rather than behind walls. This does make Showtime that little bit easier to complete.
When you do find all eight puppets, you will unlock the “Showtime” achievement, earning 30 points or a silver trophy depending on the console you play on. Gangs of Sherwood has 1,000 points up for grabs in total, so completing this achievement will put you 3% closer to that all-important platinum trophy.

How to Complete Showtime
Here are the locations of all eight puppets you’ll need to find to complete Showtime, divided by Act.
Showtime Locations for Act One
You can find the following puppets for Showtime in Act One:
- Robin of Locksley. Found during mission two. After you clear the hideout, walk up to the big tower in the distance. You will find the puppet at the foot of the tower.
- Guy of Gisborne. Located in mission three. As you travel to the factory, you will come across a chapel. Guy’s puppet is located within the Chapel, on the left side as you walk in.
Act Two
The next puppets for Showtime are found in Act Two:
- Friar Tuck. You can find this puppet in Mission One of Act Two. Before you jump through the chasm, take the zipline across the gap, and you will find the Friar Tuck puppet at the foot of the tower.
- Alan-A-Dale. Found in Mission Two, within the mine. As you reach the entrance marked with red lights, you’ll be able to find the puppet just behind the drill bit on the right.
- Prioress of Kirklees & Red Roger. Located during the final mission of Act Two. Just look for the stairs as you reach the entrance of the main building. Keep walking up the stairs, and eventually, you should find the puppet.
Act Three
You can find the final puppets for Showtime in Act Three:
- Little John. Found during your time in the trenches in Mission One. You should find a hidden area that can be accessed by John or Tuck. The puppet is within this room.
- Maid Marian. Located up the ladder adjacent to the massive “indoor market” sign found during Mission Two.
- Sheriff of Nottingham. The final puppet is unlocked when you reach Act Three, Mission Three. You’ll need to walk into the room with the green flag, and then drop down the hole on the left side of the room. The puppet will be in this room.
Tips for Completing Showtime
On its face, Showtime isn’t that hard to complete. However, as you can probably imagine, searching in the mud for a tiny puppet can become extremely frustrating. So, here are a few tips that will make your time much easier:
- Clear the Area Before you Search. It’s important to clear the area of any enemies before you start searching for a puppet. The last thing you want to do is get stabbed in the back whilst looking for a mini Robin!
- Look for Waypoints. If you’re struggling to find a specific puppet, then refer back to the waypoints mentioned in this guide. This will help you gather your bearings and ultimately make finding the puppets a whole lot easier!
- Turn up your Brightness. Whenever you’re looking for anything that’s hard to find, turning up your brightness will always help. So, if you find yourself struggling, just head on over to the game’s settings and put the brightness to max!
