One of the many collectibles within The Dark Pictures Anthology: House Of Ashes is the Secrets. These provide players with a brief description of the environment, collectibles themselves, and the story.
There is a total of 50 Secrets to be found and below is a simple guide on how to find them

SECRET #1
- SECRET: Creature Life Cycle
- CHARACTER: Jason / Rachel
- SECRET NUMBER: 19
- GUIDE:
- As soon as you gain control of Jason / Rachel, you can find the collectible on the corkboard.
SECRET #2
- SECRET: Randolph’s Journal (Part 10)
- CHARACTER: Jason / Rachel
- SECRET NUMBER: 36
- GUIDE:
- From the last collectible, there will be a table to the left. The collectible can be found here.
- If you have successfully managed to find all 10 Randolph’s Journal, you will then be rewarded with the The Statement Of Randolph Hodgson trophy achievement
SECRET #3
- SECRET: Mary’s Notes
- CHARACTER: Jason / Rachel
- SECRET NUMBER: 43
- GUIDE:
- This next one can be found in the same room as the previous collectible, it sits on a crate near the supplies
SECRET #4
- SECRET: Van Huyten’s Confession
- CHARACTER: Jason / Rachel
- SECRET NUMBER: 45
- GUIDE:
- From the last collectible, turn back around and head to where all of the strange vines and eggs are.
- You can find the collectible sitting on top of a crate here
#SECRET 5
- SECRET: Alien Parasite
- CHARACTER: Rachel
- SECRET NUMBER: 38
- GUIDE:
- This one requires that both Eric and Rachel survive and reach this chapter.
- From there Rachel will be infected with the alien parasite.
- Convince Jason not to kill Rachel.
- Hunt down the parasite
- Kill the parasite and then examine it to unlock this one
