One of the many collectibles within The Dark Pictures Anthology: House Of Ashes is the Secrets. These provide players with a brief description of the environment, collectibles themselves, and the story.
There is a total of 50 Secrets to be found and below is a simple guide on how to find them

- CHARACTER: Rachael
- SECRET NUMBER: 12
- GUIDE:
- After entering the temple, you will be in a room with a large tent. The collectible can be found behind this tent
SECRET #2
- SECRET: Creature Features
- CHARACTER: Rachael
- SECRET NUMBER: 20
- GUIDE:
- After activating the generator, head up the stairs. Sticking to the right, head through the hallway. The collectible can be found on the table to the right.
SECRET #3
- SECRET: Randolph’s Journal – Part 1
- CHARACTER: Rachael
- SECRET NUMBER: 24
- GUIDE:
- Staying in the first room of the temple, where you activated the generator. Head inside the large tent on the right to find this next one
SECRET #4
- SECRET: Curse of Akkad
- CHARACTER: Rachael

- From the last collectible, turn around and inspect the table opposite the rubble. The collectible can be found here

- SECRET: Aline’s Letter

- From the last collectible, once again turn around and this time you want the table to the left of the stairs

- This one is back in the large tent, where you found collectible 24. This time it is on the table in the back.

- SECRET: Dynamite

- GUIDE:
- This one can be found in the sandpit. Inspect the dynamite, then next to it is a hammer. Inspect both the dynamite and hammer
