How to Get Materials In The First Descendant
There are various ways to gather material in The First Descendant. The easiest way to obtain materials is by completing missions and progressing the game. You receive materials as rewards for completing missions.
The second easiest way to get materials is by picking up loot that enemies drop once they’re defeated on the battlefield. If you happen to miss any loot, you can check the Lost and Found tab in your mailbox, where you’ll find materials and rewards that were unclaimed after defeating enemies or completing missions.
Munition and Resource Boxes are scattered across the battlefield. You can approach and open these boxes for loot, which contain materials as well.
Lastly, you can get material by dismantling your weapons in your inventory. You can select which weapons you want to mark as junk and then press the “Dismantle Junk” button. The button to execute this action is located at the bottom of your screen and varies per platform.
How to Use Materials
Materials in The First Descendant are used to maintain and enhance your weapons at the workbench. The workbench is located in Albion. You can also construct descendants and weapons with your materials by talking to Anais in Albion.
