What is a Void Intercept Battle?
A Void Intercept Battle is a raid battle where you and your team defeat Colossi to earn rewards. Rewards include reactors and modules used to strengthen your character. Each specific boss drops a Linked Amorphous Material, and you can use your Reconstructed Device to obtain the contents within. All dropped loot must be picked up before you return to Albion.
Void Intercept Battles can be played solo, with a party of up to four friends, or you can select matchmake. Cross-play is available between PS5 and PC.
When Do You Unlock Void Intercept Battles In The First Descendant?
Void Intercept Battles are unlocked through progressing the main story. Progress through Kingston’s main story and, after doing the Humanity’s Scourge quest, the first Void Intercept Battle becomes available.
How Do You Join Void Intercept Battles?
Once Void Intercept Battles are unlocked, there are two ways you can join them. The quickest and easiest way is to open your world map and select the Void Battle icon on the bottom left. This immediately opens the Void Battle Menu. The second way is to speak to Seneca in Albion.
