The Wandering Dead (Incubation Lab) Resident Evil 4 Remake
In the (RE4) Resident Evil 4 Remake there are various requests that can be found and completed. Most of them resides near the merchant and the typewriter. Most obvious on walls and as blue notes.
These requests are similar to side quests in that they supply us with optional side activities. Sometimes we will be required to locate various collectibles, other times to destroy specific objects and enemies. All of the requests are located on blue notes. So we will need to find and locate these notes in order to learn more about the task and objective. Each chapter has at least one of these requests that we can try to solve.
As a reward for having successfully completed these requests we will most often be rewarded with Spinels, which can then be sold for ptas to the merchant. They are basically treasure that we can then sell. Usually these are traded for various rewards from the Merchant. Rewards such as healing herbs, weapon parts, new weapons, and treasure maps. There is a vast range of different rewards to choose from.
Once you have successfully managed to completed the required task we can then speak with the Merchant in order to complete it and move on to the next one. Only by speaking with the Merchant will we be able to reap our rewards.
One such request within the Resident Evil 4 Remake is the The Wandering Dead request, which sees us having to eliminate an Iron Maiden over in the Incubation Lab. We can find and complete this one during chapter 14.
PREVIOUS REQUEST: Even More Pest Control | NEXT REQUEST: Destroy the Blue Medallions 6 |
THE WANDERING DEAD REQUEST
REQUEST: The Wandering Dead
AREA: Incubation Lab
REWARD: x8 Spinel
CHAPTER: Chapter 14
DESCRIPTION: There have been sightings of what appears to be a strange corpse wandering around, likely the result of some immoral experiment. Won’t someone put it out of its misery and end its pathetic existence?
WHERE TO FIND THE IRON MAIDEN
After venturing through the Waste Disposal we will then be tasked with using the crane’s wrecking ball to destroy a part of the wall. After this segment, head through the now damaged wall to find the blue request note.
For this one we will need to backtrack all the way back to the Incubation Lab. Here is where more Regeneradors alongside the Iron Maiden resides, waiting for us. The latter of which is our primary target, so feel free to ignore any stragglers besides that one.
HOW TO DEFEAT AN IRON MAIDEN
You can tell the difference between a normal Regenerador and an Iron Maiden as the Regeneradors do not have as many red targets to aim for using the Sniper Rifle combined with the Biosensor Scope. Whilst the Iron Maiden has several weak points, more than its normal counterpart. So be sure to bring plenty of Rifle ammo with you! Another slight difference is that an Iron Maiden can summon sharp spikes on its body.
Otherwise the same method of takinng down an Iron Maiden applies, it is just a more advanced version of the Regenerador. The only real weapon that can deal damage to these type of enemy creatures is the Sniper Rifle. Also, failing that a Rocket Launcher can also do the job too.
The Iron Maiden drops an Alexandrite upon its defeat. We can sell the Alexandrite for 6,000 ptas.
