The Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series is back and we feel rather nostalgic with our latest guide.
The Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 (Remake) consists of all of the tracks that where featured in the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 games, only redone and they look glorious too.
Anyway for this guide we will be focusing on the various different challenges and goals that each level will consist of. Each level has it’s own unique set of goals and challenges that you can try and pull off, most of which usually contain grinding on various different rails, destroying bells, pulling off enough tricks to earn a certain amount of points and so on..
This specific guide however, will hopefully guide you on how to complete all of the various different goals and challenges on the Downhill stage
Let’s begin!
COLLECT S-K-A-T-E
The first letter ‘S’ can be found not too far away from the start of the level, as long as you remain on the lower ground you should easily spot this one
The next letter ‘K’ can be found on top of these 2 rails here.
From the letter ‘K’ DON’T continue down the road instead turn around and head up the small ramp next to it (as seen in the above image). From there jump onto the rail at the end and slide on over to the next platform
As you grind along this pipe you will more than likely unlock one of the Valve goals (if you have not yet done so) However for this specific section you can find the next letter ‘A’ on this section here
You can find the letter ‘T’ as you continue on and the path splits and rejoins once again
The final letter ‘E’ can be found just before finishing the stage on the right
COLLECT 5 HARD HATS
As soon as the stage level begins you should immediately see this one on the left
As you approach the rather long slope into the path that then splits, you should hopefully notice this one to the left
Immediately after the last one, you should notice the third Hard Hat just off the ramp here
The next one can be found just before finishing the stage and to the left
The final Hard Hat can be found on the very last ramp of the stage here
OPEN 5 VALVES
The first Valve can be found at the start of the level stage on the two pipes here. Simply grind it in order to open it
The next Valve can be found on the ramp here just before the first hole in the ground
The third Valve is located on the pipe just by where the letter ‘K’ is or would have been. If you managed to get the letter ‘A’ then chances are you already have this one.
Try to get enough speed and air in order to be able to land on top of the ‘STEER CLEAR’ platform here
The fifth and final Valve can be found on the wall here just before finishing the level stage
GET THE SECRET TAPE
Head to the pipe next to where the letter ‘K’ is or would of been and grind this pipe here (which will count towards one of the Valve opening goals if you have yet to get it)
Grind the nearby pipe and then use the wall to your advantage in order to get to the next platform
Ride the next platform around being careful not to fall off of course. Then time and position your jump so that you can jump and land on the Secret Tape
MADONNA THE HUGE WATER HAZARD GAP
In order to be able to pull this one off you will need to know how to perform the Madonna trick.
The default buttons in order to perform the Madonna is (Top Right + Circle = PS4) and (Top Right + B = XBox One)
The Huge Water Hazard Gap is the set of brightly coloured pipes that go across the first hole in the ground (as seen above), you need to perform the Madonna here
AIRWALK THE HYDROPHOBIC GAP
In order to be able to pull this one off we will need to know how to perform the Airwalk trick.
The default buttons for this are as follows; (Bottom Right + Circle = PS4 / Bottom Right + B = XBox One)
The Hydrophobic Gap can be found close to the end of the stage level and is marked in the image above, it is those ramps that you need to perform this trick over
COLLECT THE STAT POINTS
The first Stat Point can be found at the very start of the level stage, it will be on a high platform to the right and you will need to use the ramp on the left in order to reach it
Ride the brightly coloured pipes across the first hole in the floor or alternatively go around it.
The next Stat Point can be found at the end of the pipes and to the left up a small chute
The final Stat Point can be found close to the end of the stage and to the left here
VV COLLECTIBLE
If you have tried or got the Secret Tape then you will of no doubt come across the VV collectible already.
After using the wall in order to get to the platform after riding the pipe you will now be able to reach this rather tricky collectible. Just jump on top of the red and white ledge here in order to get it, you would of followed this path already in order to get the Secret Tape
ALIEN PLUSHIE COLLECTIBLE
This one is an easy find, simply turn around at the very start of the level stage and the plushie will be sat behind you in the corner here
