Where Winds Meet has plenty of Wandering Tales quests that you can do, whether you want to explore its lore, get rewards or earn exploration points. One of these is the Great Hero’s Trials, and much like other quests in this category, you’re tasked to search for clues and solve puzzles to complete it all.

How to Complete the Great Hero’s Trials quest In Where Winds Meet
Initiate the Wandering Tales quest by heading to the Bamboo’s Abode area. Go to the marked location, just near the waterfall. Inside the pavilion, you’ll see a female child named Rongrong.
Collecting The Proof Of Hero Wooden Tags
Upon finding and speaking with Rongrong, you will learn that to continue with the Great Hero’s Trials quest you must complete three trials in order to get the Great Hero’s Secret Tome. Each trial will grant you three wooden plates labelled “Proof”, “Of”, and “Hero.”
Our next objective is to find these wooden tags and we can do so by, essentially, playing around with nature. Which involves hunting down birds, knocking down trees and exploring enemy territory
Tag #1
From Rongrong’s location, head northwest. Climb up the hill until you get to the highest point. Switch to your bow, and use your fire arrow to kill the flying bird in the sky. We recommend using the Still Waters to slow down time, making it easier to hit the enemies.
After killing the bird, chase the corpse and get the first tag.
Tag #2
Near the pavilion, you can find the second tag. Head northwest, and cross the water to find a large tree.
Knock it down with your weapon until it falls over. Once it’s down, pick up the tag.
Tag #3
For the final piece needed in Where Winds Meet Great Hero’s Trials quest, head southeast. Note that in this area, you’ll meet a pack of enemies. If you want to get your hands on a chest, defeat all of them. Nevertheless, we still recommend you to take them out as they can disturb you as you try to pick up the last tag.
In this area, you’ll find a tall wooden tower. Try to reach the top by continuously jumping or using your lightness skill to get the last tag.
Once you have managed to find and collect all of the required tags simply return back to Rongrong and you will be rewarded with 40 Echo Jade, 40 Qinghe Exploration, 5,000 Coin, and experience
