Where Winds Meet is an open-world RPG that rewards you for wandering and exploring each region, and its nooks and crannies. Once you’ve explored long enough, you’ll be given exploration points that can get you a bunch of precious rewards.
Here’s how to get exploration points fast in Where Winds Meet.
How to Increase Exploration Points in Where Winds Meet
Players can earn exploration points through chests, oddities, boundary stones, exploration quests, meow meow challenges, mini-games and defeating enemies.
Chests – Exploration Points
Much like in other games, you can gain exploration points by opening and claiming chests. You can find them while exploring the map, or while doing quests. These chests can give you between 5 and 20 points. Sure, they only bring small amounts of exploration points but they add up over time.

Oddities
Besides chest, you’ll encounter several oddities across the map. Oddities in Where Winds Meet are essentially special collectibles that you can get. There are several types of oddities, and each has different methods on how to get them. One oddity collected can give you three points.
Boundary stone
One of the most straightforward ways of collecting exploration points is by opening boundary stones. In the early game, you’re expected to unlock these boundary stones in order to unlock fast travel or teleport. Now, we recommend getting these as they can give you 50 points each.

Quests
Naturally each quest in Where Winds Meet will give you exploration points. Exploration quests give you up to 50 points, Wandering Tales give 10, Jianghu Legacy can go up to 100, Encounters provide at most 50 while World Affairs can go up to 50.

Meow meow challenges – Exploration Points
Meow Meow challenges includes puzzles that need to be solved. Upon finishing them, the cat will give you a bunch of rewards including 30 exploration points.

Mini-games
Now if you wanna have fun and unleash your competitive side, you can try mini-games with NPCs. Do them and they will reward you with jades, materials and exploration points. You can simply open the map, zoom in a bit and you will see their locations.

There are several types of mini-games that are available at your disposal such as Archery, Spar, Gift of Gab, Healing game, Pitch Pot and more.
Defeat bosses and outposts
Lastly, you can find and defeat bosses in Where Winds Meet such as Qingye, Heartseeker and Lucky Seventeen. After fighting them and killing them for the first time, you can get a good amount of exploration points. Now this also applies to outposts.
