YS IX – Monstrum Nox : Illness Inquiry (Side Quest) Guide

Illness Inquiry is one of the many side quests that you can complete within Ys IX: Monstrum Nox

It involves trying to find out the cause for people being sick and ill. It can be found and completed during Chapter 3 – The Feral Hawk

PRIORITY: 2/3 (2 Star)
REWARD: x10 Flour, x10 Tomato
LOCATION: Dandelion – Bulletin Board
CHAPTER: Chapter 3 – The Feral Hawk
WALKTHROUGH:
You can collect this side quest by picking it up at the Bulletin Board over at the Dandelion base.
After picking it up, head on over to the Agricultural District. Here speak to Jake (marked on the map with a green icon)
You can pick whichever option you want as you won’t get any extra rewards regardless. However, you will soon find out that it is the water that is the problem here, the other option just gives a bit of extra dialogue
There will be a well nearby, so go ahead and investigate it.
Opt to check the inside of the well out. Basically go inside it.
Follow the well to a bunch of enemies, though these are rather weak they can and will pose a threat if you are not careful. Run around the wall killing them in a more circular fashion rather than all guns blazing, or all swords in this case ha! Kill them all to proceed.
After dealing with the enemies head on back out of the well and tell Jake the good news, or is that bad? hmm…
You will be rewarded with x10 Flour and x10 Tomato for your efforts

Folks in the Agricultural District have been taking ill one after another lately.
We’ve never had an outbreak this bad before..
