List of Jobs in Abiotic Factor
The jobs in Abiotic Factor will help determine the skills and attributes of your player character in your game. They provide bonuses to skills, give experience bonuses, and have available points for your trait selection.
You first choose a job when you change your character but can change it upon reaching Cascade Laboratories by using the IS-0017 though keep in mind, your skills rill reset to level 3.
Abiotic Lab Assistant Job

The Lab assistant has 10 starting points and comes with the following skill bonuses:
- +3 Sprinting
- +3 Sneaking
- +2 Strength
It’s great for those who want to focus on stealth, especially because it comes with a +50% sneaking XP bonus!
Epimedical Bionomicist Job

This comes with 9 starting points and has the following skill bonuses:
- +3 First Aid
- +1 Cooking
- +1 Agriculture
The 50% first aide XP bonus along with the bonus that comes when crafting health and medical items makes this a great choice for those who want to be a medic!
Trans-Kinematic Researcher

It comes with 8 starting points and has these skill bonuses:
- +2 Blunt Melee
- +2 Fortitude
- +2 Sprinting
- +2 Strength
The Trans-Kinematic Researcher is great for those who want to focus on defensive combat. It has a +75% Fortitude XP, +50% Strength XP bonus.
Archotechnic Consultant

The Archotechnic Job Skill in Abiotic Factor starts with 7 points and has these skill bonuses:
- +2 Construction
- +1 Strength
- +3 Crafting
Giving you a bonus in construction and crafting is truly great but it only has 7 starting points so it makes this job rather average at best.
Phytogenetic Botanist

It starts with 9 points and has these bonuses:
- +3 Agriculture
- +2 Cooking
- +2 Strength
With 9 starting points this job is a little better than average. It comes with a 50% agriculture XP bonus!
Abiotic Factor Somatic Gastrologist Job

This starts with 9 points and has the following skill bonuses:
- +2 Sharp Melee
- +1 Fortitude
- +4 Cooking
The cooking skill bonus alone is reason to consider this job. Cooking is a great way to explore the buffs in games and keep yourself healthy!
Paratheoretical Physicist

This job starts with 8 points and has several skill bonuses including:
- +3 Throwing
- +3 Crafting
- +1 Sneaking
- +1 Reloading
- +1 Construction
The amount of skill Bonses alone makes it a great job option.
Abiotic Factor Defense Analyst Job

The Defense Analyst Job gives you five starting points and comes with the following skill bonuses:
- +2 Fortitude
- +2 Strength
- +1 Blunt Melee
- +2 Reloading
- +2 Accuracy
For those that want to be working a defense job, this might seem like the perfect job but it’s not great for beginners. It has a forced negative traits called slower learner which means there is a -20% XP penalty.
Summer Intern Job

The job gives a total of 12 starting points. It doesn’t come with any trait bonuses but the starting points alone is reason to try it out. This is basically a job that comes with a blank slate. It’s great for solo players and beginners.
