While Chapter 3 of Alone in the Dark 2024 doesn’t have a lot of Lagniappes, they are harder to spot because of the constantly changing locations. In this guide, I’ll teach you the location of each Chapter 3 Lagniappe in the order they can be found.

In Alone in the Dark (2024), seven of the Lagniappes are found in Chapter 3. This includes one in Taroella, four in the New Orleans Riverside, and two in the Sunken Temple. I’ll show you the exact locations of each one here.
Unmasked Evil Lagniappe
Set: Beast of Burden
Character: Edward or Emily
The Unmasked Evil Lagniappe is found in the Library of Taroella. After climbing the staircase to reach the third floor, there will be a small hole in the wall covered in ivy. Squeeze past that hole to find the Unmasked Evil lying on a table in a small room.
Matchbook
Set: The Crescent City
Character: Edward and Emily
The Matchbook is given to you after escaping the Dark Man in Taroella and meeting Ruth.
Typewriter Ribbon Lagniappe
Lagniappe Set: Death of the Author
Character: Emily or Edward
The Typewriter Ribbon is found on the docks of the New Orlean Riverside. In this area, the crane on the right is used to open the entrance to the sewers. The Typewriter Ribbon is found near the crane on the left side, next to a set of cans on a box.
Severed Horn
Set: A Thousand Young
Character: Edward or Emily
The Severed Horn can be found in the Pregzt Shipping Company warehouse after exiting the sewer. Head to the opposite end of the warehouse and go left into the dark corner. The Severed Horn will be atop a box next to a flask.
Witness the Black Pharaoh Lagniappe
Set: The Hartwood Curse
Character: Edward and Emily
When heading to the address Jeremy met the Dark Man in, first head into the garden on the right. The Witness the Black Pharaoh poster will be hanging on the wall next to the barricaded door.
Canopic Jar
Set: Vagabonds
Character: Edward and Emily
After descending into Dark Man’s Temple, the Canopic Jar will be in front of the large statue of Dark Man.
Children of a Dark Sun
Set: Unspeakable Cults
Character: Edward and Emily
After solving the puzzle in the first side room of Dark Man’s Temple, go up the staircase it reveals. At the end of the staircase, turn left and go down the hallway until there is a gap in the left wall with a staircase in it. Go up the staircase. The Lagniappe will be in the first room on the right.
