In this guide, we’ll be covering some tips and tricks to help you get Float Like a Butterfly.
Where to Find Eight Enemies
The best place to find eight or more enemies in order to get this achievement / trophy is in Nests. Nests are locations where you can battle a good handful of enemies. They are marked on your map by three skulls with flames around them. There are thirteen Nests in total.
The Dark Woods
- Nest 1 is located by the river in the middle of the Dark Woods region, northwest of the “T” on the map.
- Nest 2 is located by the lake in the northwestern region.
- Nest 3 is located in the mid-northernmost part of the Dark Woods, north of the river.
- Nest 4 is located in the northeastern area, next to the lake above the sketch of the trees on the map.
The Mire Marshes
- Nest 1 is located southeast of the entrance cave to the Mire Marshes.
- Nest 2 is located to the left of the entrance cave to the Harrows.
Mount Pleasant
- Nest 1 is located southwest of Fort Jericho.
- Nest 2 slightly northeast of the sketch of the rocks, north of the sketch of the waterfall.
The Harrows
- Nest 1 is northeast of Harrows Hamlet, almost directly east of the sketch of the boats.
- Nest 2 is located slightly southwest of the sketch of the boats.
- Nest 3 is located by the shore southwest of Harrows Hamlet.
- Nest 4 is to the right of the boat in the southwestern part of the Harrows.
- Nest 5 is directly north of the Nest by the boat.
These are the best spots to defeat eight enemies for the Banishers Ghost of New Eden Float Like a Butterfly achievement / trophy.
How to Defeat Eight Enemies
Switch Between Red and Antea
The best way to defeat multiple enemies fluidly, and to not take any damage during the process, is to switch between Antea and Red and utilize their abilities. Antea’s abilities deal more damage on spectral enemies and, if Red has found his rifle, utilizing that on material enemies, like corpses, from a distance is smart as well.
It’s best to start off fighting with Antea. When her health reaches 0, you automatically switch to Red. As he heals damage, Antea’s health can refill and then you can switch back to her. If you keep this up, you can take down as many enemies as you want with minimal damage and have a greater chance to killing eight in a row without taking damage.
Passive Skills and Equipment Upgrades
Keep in mind that most equipment has passive skills, and this can greatly help you in combat as well. Upgrading your equipment and keeping up with the latest upgrades can make a big difference. Know Thy Enemy
When fighting, make sure to you know what type of enemy you’re fighting and what they are capable of. For example, Spectrals are not too difficult to take down on their own, but they have the ability to possess corpses. If they do this, you have to defeat the corpse and then defeat the spectral, prolonging the fight. This puts you at a higher risk of taking damage.
Another thing that puts you at risk of damage is charging up heavy attacks. While they can be very effective, and are oftentimes worth taking damage to get in a powerful strike, they’re risky if you’re trying to defeat multiple enemies without taking damage.
There are plenty of opportunities when fighting as Red or Antea to get this achievement / trophy. As long as you keep these tips and tricks in mind, you’ll get the Banishers Ghost of New Eden Float Like A Butterfly achievement / trophy in no time.
