In order to get the Banishers Ghost of New Eden Round Figure achievement/trophy, the player must collect 10,000 Pieces of Eight. While that sounds very daunting, Pieces of Eight are actually the currency within the game, used to buy wares from merchants. There are numerous ways to collect currency within the game and we’ll be covering the best ways to do that within this guide.

Trading
There are merchant locations all over New Eden where you can buy and sell items you’ve found throughout the environment, usually in the form of a roaming traveler with goods to sell. Luckily, they’ll buy anything you’ve got on you. Sincere Parris is one of these merchants and his shop is located in New Eden. You can sell items such as equipment, resources, and more. A coin purse icon marks the shops on your map.
Treasure Hunting
Throughout the world of New Eden, you may come across a mysterious map or two with a special location marked on it. These are treasure maps. You can find them throughout all regions of New Eden. They will lead you to their treasures, which often contain Pieces of Eight or items you can sell for money, bringing you closer and closer to that goal.
You can find treasure maps in all four regions: The Dark Woods, Mire Marshes, Mount Pleasant, and The Harrows. Here is a short list of locations:
- You can find a map in Sincere Parris’ Shop in the Dark Woods. The treasure is located northeast of Red’s Sickbed Shelter
- A map is located in the High Camp Shelter in the Dark Woods. The treasure is located slightly northwest of the Shelter, under a rock.
- A map is in the Old Marsh Encampment Shelter in Mire Marshes. The treasure is located near a waterfall north of the Broken Bridge Shelter.
- A map is located inside Bligh Manor in Mount Pleasant. You can find the treasure below the Old Trading Route Shelter.
- You can buy a map from Phoebe in Harrow’s Hamlet in the Harrows. The treasure is located northeast of the Hills Old House Shelter, by the river.

Looting Chest
You can find four different types of chests throughout the environment that will yield a variety of rewards. There are Blue Chests, Locked Chests, Lost Chests, and Cursed Chests. Inside these chest, you can find currency, amulets, outfits, and weapons. You can sell these items for Pieces of Eight.
There are 19 Blue Chests and they’re easy to spot. They have runes and glow blue. Simply open them and it’ll rewards you with Witch Stones (which is another currency in the game), Pieces of Eight, and other items.
There are 10 Locked Chests. You have to find the key, which is always somewhere nearby. This chest will reward you with amulets, brooches, outfits, weapons, and more.
There are 10 Lost Chests and, similar to Blue Chests, they’re easy to spot. They have an orange glow and have runes. You don’t need a key for these. They yield jewelry with perks, weapons, and other accessories.
There are 9 Cursed Chests and they’re the rarest and most difficult. There is 1 in the Dark Woods and Mire Marshes and 2 in Mount Pleasant. To open, you must find 3 figurines per chest that will break the curse on them. These chests will reward you with weapons, amulets, rings, armbands, brooches, and outfits.

Completing Quest
The side quests in the game are called Haunting Cases and they require you to investigate and discover who or what is causing the haunting. These side quests yield rewards, including money or items that can be sold at shops for more money. However, the choices you make during these quests can determine the outcome of your story, so don’t take them lightly.
Once you’ve collected a total of 10,000 Pieces of Eight, you’ll get the Banishers Ghost of New Eden Round Figure achievement/trophy.
