There are four types of chest for the Banishers Ghost of New Eden Locksmith achievement/trophy: blue, locked, lost, and cursed. Blue Chest glow blue and have runes on them. Locked Chest are most common and there is always a key for it somewhere nearby. Lost Chests have an orange glow and runes and require nothing to open it. Each Cursed Chest require three specific figurines in order to break the curse on them.

The Dark Woods
Blue Chests
There are seven Blue Chests within the Dark Woods territory. They do not require anything special to open them. You can find the chest hidden throughout the environment. They glow blue, which makes them pretty easy to spot. They’re hiding in caves, houses, on cliffs, or inside hard to reach places.
Locked Chests
The Dark Woods has three Locked Chest, the Occultist’s Equipment, the Abandoned Belongings, and the Trapper’s Reserves. You can find them inside caves, near houses, or inside abandoned homes. The key is always somewhere nearby.
Lost Chests
The Dark Woods has three Lost Chests. Each chest contains a piece of equipment. You don’t need a key or a figurine to unlock these chests. You can find them inside of huts, nearby shelters, or in small caves.
Cursed Chests
There are four Cursed Chest in the Dark Woods. The Lumberjack is in the same hut where you find the Unbounding Ritual book. In order to unlock this chest, you will need to collect three Lumberjack figurines, which are all nearby. One is inside the hut, the second one behind the hut, and the third one on a tree stump. There is also the Hunter, the Poacher, and the Tracker.

Mire Marshes
Blue Chests
There are only two Blue Chest in the Mire Marshes, both of which are around the Old Marsh Encampment shelter. One is in a nearby hut and the other is behind a barricaded shelter that will require you to shoot the boards keeping it shut.
Locked Chests
There are three Locked Chest in the Mire Marshes, the Hummingbird’s Pillage, the Smuggler’s Loot, and Soldier Ashton’s Pack. You can find them inside of caves, behind waterfalls, or inside ruined houses, and the key is always nearby.
Lost Chests
The Mire Marshes has two Lost Chest. One is on Siridean’s Island and the other is in a cave after the first Void Breach.
Cursed Chests
There is one Cursed Chest in the Mire Marshes. You can find the three Soldier figurines for it in the buildings nearby. One is in the forge, the other is a ruined house, and the last in another ruined building north of the chest.

Mount Pleasant
Blue Chests
There are seven Blue Chest in the Mount Pleasant territory. They’re scattered around and may require the use of Antea’s powers to get to. You can find them mostly in caves and mines.
Locked Chests
There are two Locked Chest in Mount Pleasant, the Military Arsenal and Bligh Manor Stolen Items. You can find them on snowy ledges or inside shelters.
Lost Chests
Mount Pleasant has four Lost Chest. You can find one at the entrance of the region, the other southwest of Fort Jericho, in the mines at Fort Jericho, and near the police station.
Cursed Chests
There are four Cursed Chest in Mount Pleasant. For the first one, you need to find three Explorer figurines, which are in a cave, well, and tent. For the second one, you need to find three Navigator figurines. The first one is along the path, the second one is in a well, and the third one is by a corpse. There is also the Climber and the Miner Cursed Chest.

The Harrows
Blue Chests
There are three chests within the Harrows. One is near the smuggler’s port, one in a building northeast of the biggest settlement in the territory, and the last one in a small wooden building in the north part of the territory.
Locked Chests
There are two Locked Chest in the Harrows, the Deceased Inhabitant’s Personal Belongings and Farmer’s Case. You can find both of them inside buildings with the key nearby.
Lost Chests
The Harrow has only one Lost Chest. You can find it in the smuggler’s port.
Cursed Chests
The Harrow has no Cursed Chest.
