The Teacher’s Pet is a bronze trophy and one of the easiest Banishers Ghost of New Eden Trophies / Achievements to unlock. The task at hand is straightforward: find and collect a total of 15 King James Bibles. This will require you to engage in exploration and master your surroundings. In this game guide, we’ll give you a full list of Bibles and the best way to journey to each site to find them.
First, complete the “Saints and Sinners” Haunted Case and choose to banish Hugh’s sister, Marcy Batcheler, at the end of the case. Rest at a shelter and then head to the Harrows. You can find a post on the notice board, put there by Hugh, asking for bibles. Picking up the letter will start the side quest “Bible Studies”.
Banishers Ghost of New Eden: All 15 Bible Locations for Teacher’s Pet Achievement
The Harrow
- Once you get the quest, the first Bible can be found in the smaller building to the right of the notice board. Go past the large building to the house with the partially missing roof. The Bible will be inside to the right, on the table.
- After you’ve collected this Bible, turn around and leave the building. Head back to the notice board, but right before you reach it, take the trail on your right. The Bible will be in the first building on the right.
- Leave this building and turn right. Then make an immediate right and head up the set of stairs straight in front of you. Continue all the way to the half-constructed church at the top. The Bible will be inside, to the left.
- Next, you’ll need to go a bit further. Go to the big cabin on the northeast side of the Harrows, near the Farmer’s Case Locked Chest on your map. Inside the ruined building, the Bible will be on your left.
- The next Bible will be on the west side of the Harrows, in a building north of Mill House Shelter. The small house is marked by a point of interest marker. Break the door with a melee weapon and it’ll be on the table to your left.
That’s all the Bibles in this section for the Teacher’s Pet trophy/achievement. Next, you’ll want to move on to the Dark Woods.
The Dark Woods
- Next, go to the Kate Bivouac Shelter in the Dark Woods. While facing the firepit, turn around and go under the overhanging rock. The Bible is a little farther in, on a table to the right, by a lantern.
- The next Bible is west of the Wolf Den Shelter in the Dark Woods. Climb the rock on the right and then drop down into a cave. Continue forward, going under a fallen tree and then scaling another rock. Follow the path as it curves sharply to the left. Jump over the gap and the Bible is on a crate by the fire.
- In the small town south of Hunter’s Camp in the Dark Woods, go to the lone house at the top of the hill with the glowing blue smoke next to it. The Bible is inside on an empty bookshelf to the left.
- Once collected, leave the house and turn left. Go down the hill and curve left towards the two wooden bridges. Cross the bridges and go into the first house on the left. The Bible is inside on the left barrel.
- Next, you’ll want to travel to the mines on the northwest part of the map, which can be accessed during or after the “Small Fortunes” quest. You can use Antea’s teleporting ability to get inside the mines. Once inside, go right and drop down. At the top of the stairs is a small bookshelf with a Bible on it.
That’s all the Bibles in this section for the Teacher’s Pet trophy/achievement. Next, you’ll want to move on to the Mount Pleasant.
Mount Pleasant
- Travel to the Bligh Domain Shelter on the west side of Mount Pleasant. The Bible is inside the shelter on a table.
- The next Bible is in the armory slightly west of the Fort Jericho Shelter. It is a big square wooden building. Go up the small set of stairs in front of you and turn right. Follow the narrow walkway to the end, where a Bible will be on a small table to your left.
- In the same building, take the stairs all the way down to the basement. The next Bible is in the first room straight ahead.
- Leave the armory using the front door. Go straight past the wooden building on the right and take the trail next to it up the hill. Past the tent, there are two buildings. Go to the longer one on the left. The Bible is inside on a table to the left.
- Turn around and exit the building. Head to the other building on your left and take the set of stairs up to the second floor. The final Bible is straight ahead on the table against the right wall.
And there you have it! Now, you should have unlocked the Teacher’s Pet trophy/achievement for Banishers Ghost of New Eden.
