Throughout the various mission chapters within Bayonetta 3 you will stumble across several unlockable challenges. These challenges are optional and there are usually 5 of them within each chapter. Unfortunately though it is not clearly evident as to what these challenges are, and what they consist of until you have at least completed the chapter once.
These challenges are known as Bewitchments. They usually feature all kinds of optional requirements. Some of which include having to destroy certain objects, find a way to climb the highest and tallest buildings, eliminate certain foes without the use of specific equipment and abilities. These requirements range in both variety and difficulty.
For the purpose of this guide we will be focusing on the Betwitchment challenges that can be found within the Chapter 11 – A Familiar Dance mission chapter.

BEWITCHMENT: Find The Item Hidden In The Underground Tunnel
VERSE: Verse 1
GUIDE: After acquiring Mictlantecuhtli proceed to the underground car park. Use the Mictlantecuhtli summon to light up dark areas (Seeing the Unseen). Once you do so turn to the left to find a vent that we can go through.
BEWITCHMENT: Find Rosa Behind The Right Door And Attack
VERSE: Verse 4
GUIDE: During the fight against Rosa we will eventually find ourselves surrounded by several door. Our goal is to determine which door Rosa is hiding behind. In order to be able to do this we need to first summon Mictlantecuhtli and have it use the Seeing the Unseen ability. We will then need to locate a door that lights up and sticks out. Find it and attack it.
BEWITCHMENT: Attack Rosa’s Umbran Armor And Get The Secret Item
VERSE: Verse 9
GUIDE: Whilst flying around on Mictlantecuhtli we will come across Rosa again. Whenever you see her attack and hopefully this one should pop. She will appear throughout the flying segment so keep an eye out. Chances are you will hit your target if you just try to destroy everything in your path.
BEWITCHMENT: Defeat 50 Lacunosus While Riding Mictlantecuhtli
VERSE: Verse 9
GUIDE: Whilst riding around as Mictlantecuhtli there will be plenty of enemy targets. Destroy 50 of them to earn this one.
BEWITCHMENT: Avoid All Obstacles In The Dark While Riding Mictlantecuhtli
VERSE: Verse 9
GUIDE: Whilst flying around as Mictlantecuhtli there will be two sections that will put us in complete darkness. During both of these sections we need to avoid all of the obstacles. Do not get hit or bump into anything in order to pull this one off.
