(BG2) Baldur’s Gate II : Enhanced Edition – Free Rielev From His Life Support (Side Quest) Guide
Free Rielev From His Life Support is one of the many different side quests featured within (BG2) Baldur’s Gate II : Enhanced Edition
It involves coming across a small creature that is trapped in a small chamber
- SIDE QUEST: Free Rielev From His Life Support
- QUEST GIVER: Aataqah
- QUEST CHAPTER: CHAPTER 1 – Irenicus Dungeon
- QUEST REWARDS: 4000XP, Energy Cells
- WALKTHROUGH:
- This one is automatically activated after you speak to Aataqah (story related). He will suggest that you seek Rielev out
- Whilst getting the quest to actually activate is rather unmissable, trying to actually find Rielev might pose a bit of a bigger problem. Well it will if your not the exploratory type
- However, if you can find Rielev not too far away from the Test Chamber room, as seen below..
- Here you will learn that Rielev was left behind and forgotten by his master. That he ultimately is not happy and thus wants to die inside his chamber
- In order to give him the peace he requires, you must accept to take the Energy Cells that he wishes to give you.
- The other creature he speaks of can be found just South of this room, though they don’t really have much to say. Also, the quest is counted as ‘Finished’ after speaking to Rielev anyway, so it is up to you if you wish to speak to them or not.
QUEST INFO:
Rielev has been released from his overlong life.
I took the crystal that apparently powered the device that he floated in, but not before he said that it might be used to activate other servants in similar devices.
