In (RE4) Resident Evil 4 Remake there are various requests to be found and completed. Most of them resides near the merchant and the typewriter. Most obvious on walls and as blue notes.
These requests are similar to side quests in that they supply us with optional side activities. Sometimes we will be required to locate various collectibles, other times to destroy specific objects.
As a reward we are mostly rewarded with Spinels, which can then be sold for ptas to the merchant. Each chapter has at least one of these requests that we can try to solve.
Once you have successfully managed to completed the required task we can then speak with the merchant in order to complete it and move on to the next one.
The Egg Hunt request sees us hunting for golden chicken eggs. It can be found during chapter 4. So where can we find one of these golden chicken eggs? How can we sell one?

DESCRIPTION: Someone fetch me a rare gold chicken egg! What will I do with it? Well, sometimes it’s more fun not knowing, right?
WHERE TO FIND THE GOLDEN CHICKEN EGG?
We can find the blue request note for this one over at the Mural Cave. When we locate the ‘Old Wayshrine Key’. Our task is to find a golden chicken egg. Seems like a daunting task, especially since there is not that many chickens running around. Plus most of the eggs we come across are usually the same basic ones.
In the (RE4) Resident Evil 4 Remake there are various different chicken eggs that can be found and collected, such as the; Chicken Egg and the Brown Chicken Egg, with the former being the most common. They have their uses too. For example the Brown Chicken Egg can restore some health, whilst the more common chicken egg can restore a small amount of health. Great if you do not have any healing herbs in your posession. However, the more rare chicken egg is the Gold Chicken Egg.
The Gold Chicken Egg is not very common at all and can be a bit of a grind to find. It has the ability to restore quite a large amount of health and can be, as said, rather difficult to find. However, one area that come in handy during your search is over to the eastern side of the Lake. Here there will be quite a few chicken swarming about. This is an ideal place to begin the search.
Once you have your Gold Chicken Egg report back to the merchant and sell it to complete the request.
