Fatal Frame / Project Zero – Maiden Of Black Water : 100% Walkthrough (Chapter

This specific guide is a complete walkthrough of Fatal Frame / Project Zero – Maiden of Black Water. Which in this page will take you through the Seventh Drop – Maiden Of Black Water chapter

We will be aiming for 100%, meaning we will be attempting to collect the various different files and ghosts. Doing so will reward us with the Record Reaper and Second Sight

FOLLOW HISOKA’S TRACE

Enter the building for a Purifying Embers, Herbal Medicine, and a Type-14 Film. Then leave and head down the stairs, towards the shrine.
On the next screen get ready for our first trace photo of the mission, you can spot Hisoka slightly north, amongst the trees (Hisoka Kurosawa Heading Inside)
Continue on towards the shrine door in order to trigger another Hisoka trace shot (Hisoka Kurosawa on a Side Road)
Follow Hisoka down the path and a Flamekeeper will spawn, defeat it. Also, if you haven’t already, this ghost has a glance scene to unlock. The weakness is it’s staff.
If you haven’t already picked it up, you can find a Type-90 Film by the shrine door. When you are ready, let us continue down that path that we were following before we got interrupted.
We will then find ourselves at the Forbidden Valley
Get the Sacred Water from the statue to the right and when possible turn and head right. Here you should spot a cage, inside of it will be another Sacred Water
Turn right and head through the stones and then continue on and around, staying to the right at all times. We will then find another cage, this time with a Type-00 Film

Head north now towards a tree, there will be a ghost sighting here. We will of encountered this ghost before, if you have been following my guides. Anyway to the right will be the Tall Woman, defeat her.
Head slightly south west in order to find Type-61 Film

Then head north west to continue with the story. Next to the row of white statues there will be the Hisoka’s Journal 2
Continue up the hill and through the squeaky door to the Twilight Peak. Great the ghost kids are back, quickly take a photo of all 3 (Running Boy, Running Girl, Running Girl)
Head down the path to the left for a trace shot of Hisoka once again (Hisoka Kurosawa in front of the Jizo)
Ignore Hisoka for now and return down the path and head left, follow this path instead. Head past the altar shrine here and continue on to the Rear Shrine of Dolls, here we can find The Rear Shrine file. You can also find Type-00 Film around to the right of the building
Then head inside this building and take a photo of the ground in order to get several pictures of other locations.

Now head outside of the building and take a photo of the building’s roof, this is our first picture location sorted. We will get an Effigy 3 for our trouble
Now head back to the altar shrine that we passed on our way here and take a photo of it. Effigy 1

Head towards the forked path for another photo chance of Hisoka (Hisoka Kurosawa on Twilit Peak).
Follow Hisoka for a scene.
We now need to fight another ghost, taking photos of it will allow you to free yourself from the trap. After the fight IGNORE the item she drops as we still need to finish the picture puzzle. So instead head to where we saw Hisoka Kurosawa in front of the Jizo, so basically Before Great Pillar Jizo.
Here there will be a row of statues, this is the final piece of the picture puzzle.

Now that we have all 3 Effigy, return to the Rear Shrine of Dolls and place the Effigy onto the shelves inside the building. You will now be rewarded with Reward Lens, which is used to increase the number of points earned by taking photographs for a short time.
Now that the puzzle has been taken care of, we can now return to where the ghost fight occurred and pick up the item it dropped. Black Diary 1. Try to leave the area for a photo opportunity of Hisoka once again (Hisoka Kurosawa Heading to the Lake)
Follow Hisoka and continue along the path until you reach the water, take a photo of Hisoka Kurosawa in the distance (Hisoka Kurosawa Standing in the Lake). Now run in there and rescue your friend!
