Fatal Frame / Project Zero – Maiden Of Black Water : All 13 File Locations (Mt. Hikami – Record Reaper) Guide

The Second Drop – Mt. Hikami chapter has a total of 13 files to be found and collected. These can then be viewed by going into the in-game menu and choosing the Records option and then scrolling over to Collection.

You will find these files throughout the chapter. However, below is a basic guide on where you can find them…

FILE #1

• FILE: The Deathly Mountain
• LOCATION: Kurosawa’s Antiques Store
• GUIDE:
• From the start of the chapter, head through the door to the west. This will bring you into the hallway
• Then immediately go through the next door on the left. The file can be found in here

FILE #2

•

• FILE: Suicide At Mt. Hikami
• LOCATION: Kurosawa’s Antiques Store
• GUIDE:
• This next file can be found on the shelf to the right of the last one

FILE #3

• FILE: Lost Item Case Files
• LOCATION: Kurosawa’s Antiques Store
• GUIDE:
• Head upstairs into Hisoka’s room (the room with the double doors)
• This file can be found on the table in front of you

FILE #4

• FILE: Letter From Fuyuhi
• LOCATION: Kurosawa’s Antiques Store
• GUIDE:
• Staying in Hisoka’s room, there will be a photo on the table next to the bed (story related)

FILE #5

• FILE: Mt. Hikami Brochure
• LOCATION: Pool of Purification
• GUIDE:
• When you finally make your way to Mt. Hikami, head on up the hill in order to see a quick glimpse of Fuyuhi
• Head left towards the water stream and you should be able to find this on the floor. It will also give you a tutorial on ghost hands too

• LOCATION: Pool of Purification – Unfathomable Path
• GUIDE:
• Before heading through the hole in the gate and reaching the Unfathomable Forest, there will be a note on the floor to the left of you.

• LOCATION: Unfathomable Forest – SE Hanging Tree
• GUIDE:
• This file can be found on the floor in the northern section of the Hanging Tree area.

FILE #8

• LOCATION: Unfathomable Forest. SE – Hanging Tree
• GUIDE:
• Head to the SE – Hanging Tree, then proceed north towards the SE – Riverview Basin. The file can be found here.

• LOCATION: Unfathomable Forest – SE Confusing Path
• GUIDE:
• Head south east to find an abandoned tent. The file can be found here

FILE #10

• FILE: Fuyuhi’s Notes 3
• LOCATION: Shrine Grounds – Back Door
• GUIDE:
• Head to the Shrine Grounds – Back Door, where you will find Fuyuhi.
• From there interact with the door, it is locked but a file will then appear.

FILE #11

• FILE: Deteriorating Note
• LOCATION: Unfathomable Forest – SW Backroad to Pit
• GUIDE:
• For this one you will need to go to a secluded forest area known as SW Concealed Copse
• You will find the file here

FILE #12

• FILE: Sunken Note
• LOCATION: Unfathomable Forest – Near Casket Marsh
• GUIDE:
• With Fuyuhi now with us, continue along the path leading east.
• There will be a path to the right that opens up to the water stream, follow this around to the right in order to find this file

FILE #13

• FILE: Apparent Suicide Note
• LOCATION: Unfathomable Forest – NW Lookout Point
• GUIDE:
• Head north from the last collectible in order to find this one, you will need to fight Yukiho Tomine in order to reach it.
