This optional side quest is quite a fun little one to complete that requires you to smash boxes, it actually unlocks the mini-game Whack-a-Box where you can actually get the trophy achievement Crate Annihilator

ACTIVATED: Complete Kids on Patrol side quest
CHAPTER: Chapter 8 – Budding Bodyguard
REWARD: Unlocks Whack-a-Box mini-game
10000 Points = Elixir
20000 Points = Crescent Moon Charm
30000 Points = Spectral Cogwheel
Participation Prize = Moogle Coin / Medal
REQUIREMENT: Complete Whack-a-Box
LOCATION: Children’s Secret Hideout
GUIDE:
This one is a simple one, in order to complete it all you have to do is score at least 10000 points. It may seem like a lot but it’s actually an easy score to get to, in fact I actually did it on my first attempt.
The yellow boxes will give you 50 points whilst the blue ones will give you either 100 or 1500 points.
Also, make sure to get the small red boxes too (there are 3 in total) as these will help put more time on the clock at the top of the screen.
Simply slap those boxes to win!
