Enshrouded is an enthralling survival game that takes players on an epic journey through fascinating lands teeming with formidable monsters. As you embark on this adventure, one of your primary quests is to find the Sleeping Survivor.

THE SEARCH FOR THE SLEEPING SURVIVOR
After creating your first base you will unlock the ability to rescue various survivors, such as Oswald Anders. The rewards for finding the sleeping survivor is the ability to bring them back to the base where they will become our much needed blacksmith.
WHERE TO FIND THE SLEEPING SURVIVOR
In order to continue with this quest we will need to traverse northwest and across the Braelyn Bridge. To an area known as the Ancient Vault.
It can be found by following the western wall, as seen on the map. If you encounter the area Rookmore you want to ignore this and continue heading in a northern direction.
THE ANCIENT VAULT
Our destination is the ancient vault, otherwise known as the Cindervault. It requires us to traverse through the Shroud. The path to which is marked with wooden arches. From there continue north and follow this path to a cave
Eventually we will come across a metal frame that can be climbed. Once you have found your way out of the Shroud you should then be able to find the Ancient Vault. A new area with even tougher enemies.
EXPLORING THE CINDERVAULT
Once inside the Cindervault you should notice a glowing pod, go ahead and interact with it. This will unlock our first survivor. Oswald Anders.
SUMMONING THE SURVIVOR
To summon the rescued survivor you will need to first return back to your base. Here you will want to craft the Summoning Staff.
By using the Summoning Staff you can then summon any of the rescued survivors, including Oswald. Who will now task you with creating a shelter.
At this point we can also craft other great bits of equipment such as the Small Chest which acts as a storage and a Grappling Hook, to help traverse the wilderness
