Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn

In this Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn Survivor’s Guilt Walkthrough, we’re covering the second Main Quest of the game. After failing her mission, Nor wakes up and finds a mysterious creature offering its aid. Nor comes to realize that the small fox, Enki, is actually a god, and it promises to help her get the revenge she desires.

Follow Enki In Survivor’s Guilt

Following Enki in Survivor's Guilt

After meeting Enki, the player takes control of Nor. Your first goal is to follow Enki and find a way out of the Caverns of Rue. Enki leads you through the tunnels to a glowing purple rock. Give him your black powder to acquire more skills, which can be viewed by opening your menu. After this, you can perform a “powder air dodge” which is basically the equivalent of a double jump. You can also jump right before landing to cushion your fall and prevent fall damage.

How to Perform Withering In Survivor’s Guilt Flintlock

When you and Enki run into the Dead, the game teaches you how to perform Withering. Withering is a powerful ability unique to Enki. You build the Withering gauge by defeating enemies and, when it’s full, you press the corresponding buttons on your screen to perform the ability and deal a lot of damage to surrounding enemies.

Find a Way Out of the Caves

After this, Enki is no longer leading the way, but your objective is still to find a way out of the caves. Continue along the path, heading straight, until you come across more enemies. Along the path, the game teaches you three more things. The first is how to prime your enemies. With Enki’s help, you can quickly defeat enemies and this builds their priming gauge. When it’s full, you can perform a critical attack.

Next, the game shows you how to remove enemy armor. Enemies take less damage when wearing armor, but you can build up their prime and perform a critical hit to remove it.

Finally, you’ll come across a Lodestone. Lodestones are checkpoints where you can rest, change equipment, acquire new skills, and save your game. If you’re defeated, you’ll return to the last Lodestone you interacted with.

Go left of the Lodestone and up the hill to complete the Survivor’s Guilt quest.
