We continue our walkthrough guide on FNAF Secret Of The Mimic. In our last entry we covered the game’s prologue. In this one, however, we are trying to find our way inside the Manager’s Office. In doing so we also come across our first set of collectibles, alongside our first creepy looking enemy encounter. Don’t be too scared. We are here to guide you along with this process..

THE ROXY RODEO COLLECTIBLE
After having updated the Data Diver we can now leave the Security Room. If you head down the small set of steps opposite this room, you can find our first collectible (Roxy Rodeo Hat). However, it is probably best to do this after having powered up the lighting in this area first. So lets do that. Also, collectibles work a little differently in this game compared to Security Breach.

Basically, collectibles reside inside these small gift boxes. That, once you interact with them, open up and reward us with various different collectibles. From toy plushies to hats and even masks. But, unlike in, Security Breach once a box has been opened it automatically gets collected. In Secret Of The Mimic once a box has been opened these collectibles turn into physical objects. These said objects then need to be taken and stored inside an Inventory Box. One of which resides in the Security Room we just explored. Sounds a bit much carting them around all the time doesn’t it?
Anyway just remember the gift box here, down the stairs. We can store the Rodeo Hat a bit later. When power to the room has been restored. First lets actually activate the power to the room.
RESTORING POWER IN FNAF SECRET OF THE MIMIC
Now somewhere around here there should be a room labelled ‘Power Room’. Find it and access this room. Once inside there should be a lever you can activate. Do so and we will be greeted with another puzzle to solve. Here we can interact with various slabs and rotate them. Connect them. Basically our goal is to connect these slabs so that this yellow liquid substance can pass through safely on through to the other side. There are multiple ways to solving this particular puzzle but the end goal is the same.

Whilst trying to solve this puzzle you will have an invisible in-game timer. Take too long to solve it and this substance automatically activates. Running through the maze of slabs. If you happen to fail the puzzle that is fine. Simply restart the puzzle until you are happy. The substance timer will also restart too.
If you are happy with your progress and the substance has yet to automatically activate, then if you look around there will be a small dial you can interact with. Doing so will also activate our puzzle. So continue playing around with that until all has been solved
This should give us power to the area. Oh but wait! Did anyone see a creepy looking elephant on the other side of this nearby window? I didn’t imagine it, did I? Anyway the Dispatcher will also get back in contact with us.
SECURITY ROOM REVISITED
With the power now restored proceed back to the Security Room once again. Here interact with the intercom and have another conversation with the Dispatcher. He will continue to talk about the malfunctioning endoskeleton and that it has great potential, despite its current flaws. However, in order to fix that we need to find a schematic. However, in order to be able to retrieve that we must found Murray’s Executive Suite.

He will then continue to mention the Inventory Tube System. Interact with it and a selection of options will appear. Including Tools, Collectibles and End. For continuation of the main story you will want the ‘Tools’ option. From there choose the ‘Crank’. This will now appear in the Inventory Box next to you.
Remember the ‘Roxy Rodeo Hat’ I mentioned a short while ago? That you need to store collectibles inside an Inventory? This is what I’m referring to. You need to store any collectibles you might find inside of these Inventory Tube Systems. Only then will it count as being collected. Not sure I’m a fan of this personally but oh well..
MAKING OUR WAY TO THE MANAGER’S OFFICE
Anyway our next destination is the Manager’s Office. So proceed to leave the Security Room but be alert, we are no longer alone. Which is obvious as there was something or someone at the window earlier. Remember? Before proceeding any further, search for a small box of toy mice. These will come in useful in just a short minute. Find them and remember its location.

Now near here there should be a closed gate that requires the crank we just collected. Use it and proceed into a jump scare. A massive elephant will jump out from one of its containers and won’t be afraid to attack. As we don’t really have any actual weapons or anything to actually defend ourselves. You don’t want to get into any conflicts with it. We are vastly weak against it and its not afraid to capture us. If it manages to, its Game Over.
Our only way to escape anything hostile is to run and hide. Remember those toy mice I just mentioned? Now is a good time to use them. Now we want to get into the room past this terrifying mechanical elephant. So grab a mouse and throw it into the other area, opposite. This will attract its attention and allow us to escape into the room we need to actually be in.
After escaping the hostile machine our next task is to find an elevator to floor 2F. But, as you may have already noticed. There is another collectible here. The Sharppay Plushie. Once ready lets go and find this elevator
FINDING OUR WAY TO FLOOR 2F MANAGER’S OFFICE
Continue to follow the rather linear area until you find a set of red doors with a large red button. This should be our elevator. Ride it to floor 2F. Whilst up here you will want to continue following the path to the left. Opposite the rather large hole in the wall. The Manager’s Office is also on this floor

This next room has another room upgrade for our Data Dive. Alongside our third collectible, the Hedgehog Mask. We also have an inventory system to store this mask too. Handy! Anyway proceed and solve this next puzzle so that we can upgrade our Data Dive
In order to be able to solve this puzzle you will want to, first, take the curser through the top track. Then the middle track. Then the bottom track. You are practically making an ‘X’ like direction within the grid. So..

With the upgrade now complete we can leave the room. We are done here. This basically give us access to the Repair Room.

MEETING JACKIE-IN A-BOX
Now we want to return back to the previous area. Remember that large hole in the wall? Of course you do! It’s big enough to remember. You now want to head into that area. Here you will find a large box. But not only that it has a crank on it. Could this said crank actually open the nearby closed gate? We do need access past this gate, so lets take it!
Interact with the crank on the box. Turn it and you will be introduced to Jackie. But she seems idle, for now.. Return to the, currently, closed gate. Insert the crank and the gate will open. However, it will only go so far. So you will be forced to crawl underneath it.

We will now be in a hallway. Opposite us is a door leading to the Manager’s Office. Inside is a small, yet harmless, robot. Just doing its job. Nothing really troubling here. Your next task is to interact with yet another generator. So climb over the various bits of fallen rubble and debris until you find your way to the generator.
Inspect the generator and begin pulling and activating it. Oh, dear.. Jackie now becomes active. Leaving her small room to investigate our location. She even manages to break free of her box. Attacking the innocent robot in the process. During her sudden outburst she will tear a hole into the wall next to you. Quickly take advantage of this new opportunity and head through this hole and into the floor below.. Next its time to try and outrun Jackie!
