How to Get the Onsen Buddy Badge in Heartopia
The clue for the Onsen Buddy Badge reads, “Amidst the swirling steam, friendship quietly deepens.”
There are two things here that will point you to your answer: swirling steam, and friendship. In Heartopia, this pertains to the Onsen Mountain and well, friends.
To get the Onsen Buddy Badge, you’ll need to visit Onsen Mountain together with a friend. Before anything else, make sure the Achievement feature is unlocked. Achievements become available once you reach D.G Member Level 15, so double-check that first if the badge isn’t showing up.
Start by inviting a friend to go online, or ask a random player in-game to be your friend. Once you’re both ready, teleport to Onsen Mountain, located at the northern part of the map near the Winter Utopia bus stop.
When you both arrive, head straight for the hot spring and jump into the steaming water together. The moment both players step into the spring, the Onsen Buddy Badge will trigger instantly.
Even if your friend hasn’t unlocked the Achievement feature yet, you’ll still receive the badge as long as your own Achievements are available.
And just like that, you’ve unlocked the Onsen Buddy Badge in Heartopia.
Once it triggers, you’ll receive the Onsen Buddy Badge along with the exclusive Onsen title. Both rewards can be equipped and displayed on your profile.
