(HFW) Horizon Forbidden West – A Bigger Boom (Side Quest) Guide
A Bigger Boom is one of the many optional side quests that you can complete within Horizon Forbidden West.
This side quest involves getting parts for a new weapon.
- SIDE QUEST: A Bigger Boom
- LOCATION: Chainscrape
- QUEST GIVER: Delah
- REWARDS: 1170 XP, 1 Skill Point, Prototype Spike Thrower, x5 Explosive Spikes
- GUIDE:
- Had to Chainscrape and speak with Delah, the nearby tinker.
- You will now learn that she is willing to craft you a new weapon. However, she needs the required parts first and this where we come in.
GATHER 3 CHARGER HORNS
- You can find Chargers just south of Chainscrape
- Chargers are weak to Shock so try and take advantage of this. Also aim for their backs as another weakness can be found here too.
- Now it may take a while for the Chargers to drop their horns so you will have to be patient and keep farming.
GATHER A FANGHORN RIB
- You can find the Fanghorn Rib to the east of Chainscrape
- Fanghorn Ribs are dropped from Fire Fanghorn, which are weak to Freeze but strong to Fire.
DELIVER THE PARTS TO DELAH
- Once you have what you need report back to Delah.
QUEST DESCRIPTION
Two Oseram tinkers in Chainscrape have offered to build Aloy a powerful new weapon if she can get them the right parts.
