UNLOCKING THE BLUEPRINT
Before you can craft our much needed piece of equipment, you must first unlock the blueprint. To do so, you need to rescue the Blacksmith, an NPC who not only provides additional quests but also reveals new tools that can be created. Completing the Blacksmith’s quests will grant you access to the Grappling Hook blueprint.
REQUIRED MATERIALS
To craft a Grappling Hook, you will need the following materials:
- 8x Shroud Wood
- 2x Animal Fur
- 2x String
- 2x Shroud Spores
CRAFTING PROCESS
Once you have gathered the necessary materials, head to your Workbench, a crafting station that allows you to create various items. Interact with the Workbench and locate the Grappling Hook blueprint in the crafting menu. Select it and initiate the crafting process.
GATHERING THE MATERIALS
To craft and make use of the blueprint, you need to gather specific materials from the Enshrouded world. Here’s a breakdown of each material and how to obtain them:
SHROUD WOOD
Shroud Wood can be obtained by chopping down decaying trees found in areas covered in the Shroud. These areas are usually marked by a dense mist and treacherous terrain. Approach the decaying trees and use your axe to gather the Shroud Wood.
ANIMAL FUR
Animal Fur is dropped by various creatures you encounter throughout Enshrouded. Wolves, sheep, and other creatures can be found roaming the lands. Engage in combat and defeat these creatures to collect their fur.
STRING
To craft String, you need to collect Plant Fiber from shrubbery in the Enshrouded world. Once you have gathered enough Plant Fiber, access the Manual Crafting menu and use it to create String.
SHROUD SPORES
Shroud Spores are dropped by cursed enemies that dwell in Shroud-covered areas. These enemies are often encountered within the misty regions of Enshrouded. Defeat them in combat to acquire the Shroud Spores needed for crafting the required equipment.
EQUIPPING THE GRAPPLING HOOK
Once you have successfully crafted the Grappling Hook, it’s time to equip it and make use of its functionality. Follow these steps to equip and make use of it:
- Right-click on the Grappling Hook item in your inventory.
