As you progress through chapter 2 of the (RE4) Resident Evil 4 Remake we will come to the Village Chief Manor. Which is during our ‘Head for the church’ mission objective. It is inside this very building that we will come across the locked wardrobe.
At first the manor may seem locked. Try all you want but the main doors are not going to open for us. So in order to unlock and head inside the Village Chief Manor we are going to have to go around the back of the building. Here there is a small door that we can access through. Go ahead and do so.
Then on the ground floor of the building feel free to explore and unlock the double doors to the manor, the main doors that you probably tried to open before. By unlocking these doors we can exit through both exit doors now.
Now remain on the ground floor and head through the dinning room, just beyond this room there will be a small hallway. Within this hallway there will be a locked wardrobe. If we try to open it you will notice that it has a small padlock with pictures on it. This will kick start our next puzzle. So how do we unlock and open it up? What exactly is inside this wardrobe? How do we solve this puzzle? Well the answer to that resides upstairs. So head upstairs.
Up here there will be a typewriter, feel free to save your game. Alongside that there is a small table to the right of these stairs. On this table there is an ‘Iluminados 4:3’ file. The answer to unlocking the wardrobe resides in this said file. Our clues to which are as follows;
The old farmer, his finest crop.
The slight swineherd, his stoutest pig.
The beggarly grandam, her own beloved babe.
What resides inside this wardrobe is a Crystal Marble. Which is used to unlock the second floor door of the Village Chief Manor. The door next to the typewriter. It will lead to the second floor bedroom and our next mission objective.
This then concludes our guide on how to solve the wardrobe puzzle that is located within the Village Chief Manor and chapter 2 of the (RE4) Resident Evil 4 Remake
