How To Unlock Michael’s Safe (Safe Keys) Dead Island 2
We will come across Michael’s safe during the main mission objective, O Michael, Where Art Thou? you will find yourself in a new location. A location known as Beverly Hills.
Here we will be tasked to search for Michael who has apparently ran off and has a property here. Somewhere…

We can find Michael’s property north of the map. If you look at your map you will see that his property has a small swimming pool and is situated next to a red property.
When you reach Michael’s property you will also find that the doors here are locked. Well actually, the doors have also been barricaded too.
So in order to get inside the building we will need to head through the nearby open window. Once inside we will find that there is blood and a fallen zombie walker. Did Michael kill it?
Anyway head towards the large television set that is located on the wall. Underneath it there will be a locked safe. I wonder what is inside of it?
HOW TO UNLOCK THE SAFE? ‘IN DEAD ISLAND 2’
Now in order to get this safe open and find out what is inside we will need to search for a key. Michael’s Safe Key to be more precise.
Now we can search inside the building but, in truth, the keys are not actually inside. They are outside. In the posession of a walking zombie in fact!
So head back outside and search for a zombie walker known as Michael’s Protege. Was this his mentor? Going by his journal entries that can be found. Perhaps she was his mentor for an online class?
Anyway locate and defeat her. She will then drop the safe keys.
WHAT IS INSIDE MICHAEL’S SAFE? ‘DEAD ISLAND 2’
Once you have Michael’s Safe Key we can then head back inside and open the safe. Inside there is a weapon. The Defiant Hunting Knife.
THE DEFIANT HUNTING KNIFE
The Defiant Hunting Knife is a level 8 Rare melee weapon. That can be sold for $1,740
DAMAGE TYPE: Sharp. Frenzy (Rapid attacks trigger CRITICAL HITS, and minor ATTACK SPEED boost. Effect stacks.

LEVEL REQUIRED: Level 8 (RARE)
VALUE: $1,740
PERKS:
HIGH IMPACT: Increases FORCE
DO OR DIE: While low on health gain a moderate TOUGHNESS boost. The lower your Health, the stronger the effect.
