In the world of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, there are numerous captivating substories to explore. One such substory that stands out is “Let It Snow.” This emotionally charged quest follows the journey of a man who is determined to fulfill his dying wife’s last wish – to see snow one last time.
LET IT SNOW SUBSTORY
The Let It Snow substory in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth tugs at the heartstrings with its poignant storyline. Which sees a man named Orlando and a determination to fulfil his dying wife’s last wish of experiencing the beauty of snow one more time. As the protagonist, Ichiban, you embark on a quest to help Orlando make this impossible dream come true.
HOW TO UNLOCK THE SUBSTORY
The Let It Snow substory can be unlocked during chapter 4 – The Ghetto. Simply approach the Mohala Shave Ice in order for Ichiban to notice a man in plaid placing an order for unflavored shaved ice. Curiosity piqued, Ichiban engages in conversation with the man, who reveals his intention to create snow for his terminally ill wife. The man, named Orlando, shares the heartbreaking story of his wife’s love for snow and their unfulfilled promise to revisit the magical winter landscapes of Japan. Touched by Orlando’s plight, Ichiban offers his assistance
THE SEARCH FOR ICE AND SNOW!
The search for both ice and snow takes Ichiban to the Anaconda Shopping Center, where they encounter a heart-stopping moment: a baby carriage hurtling down an escalator. Ichiban then attempts to run after the escaping stroller, only to then discover a surprising twist – the ”baby” is Susumu Gondawara. A former Yakuza boss and he is not alone.
UNEXPECTED ENCOUNTERS
As Ichiban and Gondawara navigate the chaotic scene, Gondawara’s associates accuse Ichiban of kidnapping. To clear his name, Ichiban engages in a fierce battle against the diaper-clad gang. Once the battle concludes they then realise a revelation that condensed milk can be used as a topping for shaved ice. Thus having the key ingredients for creating snow.
A SNOWY MIRACLE
As Orlando returns to his wife’s side, Ichiban and Gondawara set the stage for their winter wonderland. They pour condensed milk over the shaved ice and toss it from the rooftop, creating a magical snow-like effect. Meanwhile, Orlando shares his heartfelt conversation with his wife, expressing his regrets and love. His wife’s final wish seems to come true when a gust of wind carries the makeshift snow into the room
