Like A Dragon: Ishin – The Junk Boy (Substory Quest)
Like A Dragon: Ishin has many different substory quests that players can find and try to complete. One of which is The Junk Boy
The Junk Boy requires us to speak to a small young boy, who is alone and feeling lonely. Here we can give him gifts that we no longer want. This also helps to build up his friendship bond.
SUBSTORY QUEST: The Junk Boy
CHAPTER: Chapter 2 – The Man Named Saito Hajime
QUEST GIVER: Boy
REWARDS: 150 Virtue
LOCATION: Fushimi (Kuramachi)
GUIDE:
This substory takes place during Chapter 2. To the east of the map there will be a small child. I noticed him during nightfall.
This kid will not seem happy. He is all alone and complaining about something. He appears to be lonely. He will mention that his parents are really strict. He will then go on to say that he is never allowed any toys. So let us cheer him up.
We can try and cheer him up by giving him something out of our inventory that we no longer need. He says that he will accept anything that we have. So he’s not fussy. Choose to give him something. I gave him a ‘Pill Bug’. By giving him something, it increased his friendship bond.
From now on, this kid will randomly appear. When he does, you can give him more items that you no longer need. Until his friendship bond has reached its maximum. This subquest is basically the start of a chain quest.
In order to continue this chain quest, we will need to give him more items and meet up with him once again.
DESCRIPTION
I give the boy something I didn’t want, and I think he actually really liked it. I don’t understand kids…
