Game Guides

As with most role-playing games out there players can expect to enjoy a vast range of both main story quests as well as optional side quests as they continue through the world of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

This specific page will be focused on the Feud Of The Faithful (Main Story Quest)

  • QUEST NAME: Feud of the Faithful
  • QUEST TYPE: Main Story Quest
  • LOCATION: Market Square
  • QUEST GIVER: Ramien
  • PREREQUISITE: The Divided City

  • GUIDE:
  • You can activate this particular quest after you successfully complete The Divided City
  • From there head to the Market Square and make your way across the passage you created during The Divided City, from there head left
  • Here we will come across a group of men, one of which is named Ramien. Who seems to be concerned regarding a guard who seems to be positioned next to a large hole in the ground and, long story short doesn’t seem to be helping much
  • The guard here, who you should find familiar as he helped us during the start of the game, his name is Hulrun. He doesn’t seem to be too happy and claims that Ramien and his men were performing treason.
  • After a bit of dialogue and providing you haven’t already ended matters here, Ramien will then run off. We will now need to go and find him
  • You can find Ramien to the North West of the Market Square, look for a patch of grass on a hill. You should find him here
  • Here you can get his side of the situation before then given several different optional paths that you can take to clear the quest

OPTION 1 – KILL RAMIEN (Lawful)

  • During this quest we can decide to side with Hulrun and kill Ramien.
  • Ramien is a Chaotic Good (Human) and a level 3 Cleric
  • Given that Hulrun has a character portrait and Ramien does not, it is likely that Hulrun could potentially remain as a permanent companion
  • After taking care of Ramien, you can loot him for Breastplate (6 Armor), Starknife (1-4 Damage), and Scroll of Protection from Law
  • However, in choosing this option you will miss out on another quest known as ‘Starward Gaze
  • Report back to Hulrun and you will receive 530XP. You can also recruit Hulrun to your team over at Defender’s Heart (Prelate Hulrun’s soldiers have joined the crusaders)

OPTION 2 – KILLING HULRUN (Evil / Chaotic)

  • If you choose to side with Ramien and kill Hulrun, you will unlock another quest known as ‘Starward Gaze
  • Hulrun is a Lawful Neutral and a level 13 Inquisitor
  • You can loot Hulrun for Longsword (2-9 Damage), Heavy Shield (2 Armor), Light Crossbow (1-8 Damage), Potion of Cure Light Wounds x2, Adamantine Chainmail (6 Armor)
  • Report back to Ramien and you will be rewarded with 530XP
  • You can also recruit Ramien and his team to the Defender’s Heart (Clerics of Desna has joined the crusaders)

QUEST DESCRIPTION

Among the topics guaranteed to provoke a reaction at the dinner table, religion certainly produces the most volatile results. Disagreements on this subject can rile even the most even-tempered dinner guests, let alone ministers of faith in a war-ravaged city. Halrun, prelate and inquisitor of Iomedae, believes that Ramien, priest of Desna, should be put down. Ramien’s opinion on the matter is quite different, naturally. Can someone help settle this conflict?

KILL RAMIEN –

Prelate Hulrun will not rest until Ramien is dead. And, knowing the prelate, it is unlikely he will be satisfied even after that.

TELL HULRUN THAT RAMIEN IS DEAD – (If You Chose To Kill Ramien)

The grisly deed is done – time to deliver the good news to the prelate

TELL RAMIEN THAT HULRUN IS DEAD – (If You Chose to Kill Hulrun or Tried For A Peaceful Resolution)

Whatever the priest of the benevolent goddess may have believed, a peaceful solution to the conflict was never going to be possible. He will not rejoice at the news of his antagonist’s death, but he will surely be lying if he says that the news does not come as a relief
