In (RE4) Resident Evil 4 Remake there are various requests to be found and completed. Most of them resides near the merchant and the typewriter. Most obvious on walls and as blue notes.
These requests are similar to side quests in that they supply us with optional side activities. Sometimes we will be required to locate various collectibles, other times to destroy specific objects.
As a reward we are mostly rewarded with Spinels, which can then be sold for ptas to the merchant. Each chapter has at least one of these requests that we can try to solve.
Once you have successfully managed to completed the required task we can then speak with the merchant in order to complete it and move on to the next one.
This one has us exterminating rats. This one can be found during chapter 2

DESCRIPTION: Get rid of the rats that have taken up in the factory! We don’t know if they are carrying any diseases, but we’d rather not find out.
HOW TO FIND THE LARGE RATS
At the start of chapter 2 we will find ourselves inside the abandoned factory. Exit this factory and we will encounter both the merchant and the request for this task. The request for this task will be pinned on the table next to the said merchant.
Now head back inside the abandoned factory and try to locate the rats inside. We need to eliminate a total of 3 rats. They are rather large in size and can often be heard squeaking and running around.
These rats are also rather quite fast. So perhaps going long range is a better option? That choice is yours to make.
The good thing about these rats is that they always tend to run around in circles and remain in the same area. There are also close to the exit of this abandoned factory so there is no need to run all of the way back to where the chapter began.
There will be one rat located in the corridor or hallway just before the door that takes you outside and to the merchant. Whilst the other two rats can be found scurrying around near the gate that you had to raise. Near the open windows.
