In (RE4) Resident Evil 4 Remake there are various requests to be found and completed. Most of them resides near the merchant and the typewriter. Most obvious on walls and as blue notes.
These requests are similar to side quests in that they supply us with optional side activities. Sometimes we will be required to locate various collectibles, other times to destroy specific objects.
As a reward we are mostly rewarded with Spinels, which can then be sold for ptas to the merchant. Each chapter has at least one of these requests that we can try to solve.
Once you have successfully managed to completed the required task we can then speak with the merchant in order to complete it and move on to the next one.
This one has us hunting down vipers in order to sell them to the merchant. This one can be found during chapter 3

REQUEST: Viper Hunter (Sell 3 Vipers)
LOCATION: Town Hall
CHAPTER: Chapter 3
REWARDS: x4 Spinel
DESCRIPTION: A dear friend of mine is gravely ill and I’d very much like to treat them to some delicious vipers before they pass. Is there a snake charmer willing to lend a hand?
WHERE TO FIND THE VIPER SNAKES
This one requires us to track down and hunt some viper snakes. These snakes can bite but are mostly harmless. They can be found in the water or hiding inside boxes. Find and locate a total of 3 viper snakes and sell them to the merchant to complete this one.
LOCATION: Town Hall
GUIDE: We can find a viper snake inside one of the boxes on the shelf within the Town Hall area. Just before we find the merchant.
LOCATION: Village Square
GUIDE: Use the Insignia Key to unlock the door. The snake is hiding inside a crate on the shelf.
LOCATION: Fish Farm
GUIDE: There are plenty of viper snakes here. Many of which can either be found in the water or on the wooden walkways.
